I am seeding as much as i can with up to 500-900kb. I have tried the disk that seems to work but haven't had the guts to try the update from the dvd. I have pal wii with wiikey installed. I rather not try the update/15% trick or run the update 100%.

Thanks Haxxxa, but still stuck at 71%. My Azureus reports only 1 seed and 246 peers, but it can't connect to the seed, probably seeder (you?) has limited the number of connections. We need other people to seed!

Any1 will be able to test this game on PAL WII with WIIKEY, btw i would suggest trying to patch the game with the PPF patch i posted earlier, that should work...

The 7+gb Wizard version of SSBB is VERY unstable, only few people seem to have it working perfectly with 60hz and so on.

I got PAL and wiikey 1.9 With letting the patch to 100% it dosen't totally brick your wii, it just 'semi-bricks' atleast for me it did. It just makes duplicate channels.

@ozke I have tried to patch this release with ppf patch but when i do the wii cant even boot the dvd. "An error have occured ,press eject and reboot your wii" is what happends.

Haxxxa, try running the game without the ppf patch but with Freeloader. I think the dual layer version works fine on pal with freeloader. Would be interesting to know if the dvd5 version worked too :)

Check it out..... My WII's (yes plural) WII's Won't play the dual layer version of this game.
I have cleaned then yadda yadda, and still it doesnt work. I have bought and returned the game 4 times. If you will finish seeding this (I too am stuck at 75%) I will seed for a month easy. Ty

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Freeloader blocks out the update that causes the duplicated channels, making the ppf patch useless. It would be nice to get a confirmation from someone who knows.

It seems like this download might be stuck at 92 forever. I recommend using the tutorial that he said he used. It is pretty simple, I've already done it myself, works perfectly and took about 15 minutes. The link is this...

Modes I have COMPLETED so far with this ISO :
-Classic Mode
-Subspace Emissary
-All-Star
-Coin Launcher/Trophy Viewer/Stage Builder
As instructed, I burned it to a HP DVD-R at 4x and ticked Verify - no read errors/mismatches were found.
Tested on my softmodded 4.0 Wii, using backup launcher gamma 0.3 to play.
Honestly, anyone having trouble with this one should check their Wii's setup... I can even play in 16:9 with Deflicker on and there's no crash whatsoever, even when using Mario's FLUDD.
Thanks for going through the trouble of following this tutorial and uploading the resulting ISO, Sh0rtY. For some reason Trucha couldn't decrypt the ISO I had gotten so I thought I was done for... until I gave this Torrent a chance. I actually have a legit copy of Brawl but my stupid Wii can't read it... LU104... I guess that'll learn to not wait 22hours in front of a Walmart just to have a console on launch day. Nintendo played it cheap, and so did I !

Well I confirm that "With Anyone" WiFi matches are not working. "With Friends", however, works perfectly fine. And so does Spectator Mode (but who uses that anyway?)
Cheats with backup launcher 0.3 are also working. So far I used Infinite Replays, P1 Infinite Jumps, Replays Longer Than Three Minutes, Overlapping Objects (for stage Builder), Infinite Objects, I made a CSS and SSS too.
I started getting "Could not read game disc error" almost every 5mins... I thought it could've been related to the cMIOS v8 since I also wanted to play GC games. These errors started showing up the very same day I've installed them... but actually, my disc simply had MINOR scratches... I suppose Brawl is a very sensitive game to these. I simply re-burned and stages load in 3 seconds again.

Cool!! I am unable to play Battalion Wars 2 either. I am using 4.2U wii version and Neo Gamma Loader version 7 or 0.7. Do you think someone can patch battalion wars 2 in a similar way? Thx again
