Norton detected viruses because Cain and Abel is a virus itself. It's a hacking/security tool. It doesn't infect your computer. I don't know if there is another virus with this program (I doubt it) but yes Cain and Abel will always be detected as a virus. And that's good because if it wasn't then it wouldn't work.
