i suggest on doing a clean install(means to reformat your PC, yes, all datas will be gone). And, remember to backup your stuffs on a portable hardisk or somthing similar. Cause, i've never test this to use as an upgrade(from windows xp to w7 or from vista to w7). I just tried doing a clean install.

Clean install means formatting your Hard drive and installing the OS on a clean partition. When you do this you will loose all your information on it, so its best you back up your files before doing a "clean install"

If the Windows 7 does not install or gets all the drivers for your laptop, it doesn't mean your laptop components (cd drive, card readers or usb ports) are spoil or gone for good but you would have to go to hp website and download the drivers for your laptop based on the specified OS you are using (Windows 7).

people asking wether its the final version cus the files are dated 7/14/2009 and not 10/22/2009. it was available for retail on 10/22/2009 and win7 was signed off as finished and RTM (release to manufacture) on 7/14/2009.
basically its the final version, its not going to be dated 10/22/2009 cus it was finished before that date. the os was finished in july so then they had to burn it to disk, create the packaging and do all the shit to get it produced and into retailers hands for october. millions of copies had to be done worldwide in only 3months, its not an overnight process where they finished the os on 10/21/2009 then created millions of copies by magic so you could buy it on 10/22/2009. after july 14th no changes were made to win7, any changes after release are in the form of update, hotfix and service packs.
its the build number that counts, not the date on the files. use regedit in windows and check the build and you'll see its retail build number.

If you have a job of doing that you probably are some sort of an IT konsulant or support guy.. If you are you also should know that the way this version is cracked is ilegal..
The easiest way is to download a windows 7 pro disc.. (or a ultimate disc with the pro on it) and burn them and enter each key on install and activate legaly.

Does anybody know how to modify the grub4dos menu, default is set to 0, and I want to change it to 1. Windows 7 keeps stalling during the boot screen.

Did not work at all for me. Tried it on two different computers. The first one it says failed to log on or something of that nature and just fails to load windows. The second one I tried it on got completely screwed. It said installation failed and now won't even let me reinstall a different copy of windows. I try to tell it specifically to boot from both USB HDD and CD drive and it just starts to load up the faulty version of windows. Any ideas?

Hello, I am trying to install this on a Mac using bootcamp. I already have a pirated version of winxp home installed. If I boot in windows and insert the dvd i made with this torrent a message comes up and says something long the lines of install folder could nt be created error message 0x80070005. I have also tried to remove the windows partition on my hard drive and create a new one using only this windows 7 cd but the system can not boot from the cd. If anyone knows how to fix this problem I would be very greatful.

Followed all instructions, wrote to a DVD+R using img burn (minus the installation text file) and it installed and activated perfect. I did have to go into set-up on my machine and change the boot order in order to boot from CDRom before HDD. AAA+++

Thanks for the torrent kk...but i need some help...first of all i tried to instal win7 from the Boot but it doesn t open the dvd and always display the message ...insert the setup cd...so i split my HDD and i setup winxp to the first part then i instal the win7 to the other part...and when it complete i delete winxp and now i have win7 X32......My problem is that when i open my PC i have to choose xin7 or earlier version of windows as it displays how i will resolve that and will the win 7 run normally now???? pls answer me....and if someone knows pls help...!!

Anyone having an issue with install? Burnt ISO to dvd, running setup from XP explorer, gets through all of the install except for the very last step - "completing installation" or whatever it is. So far I Download this, burned using CDBurnerXP at 2x on a DVDRW and installed it, chose the branding logo and finished setup... installed ALL the updates, minus the KB971033 update and they all installed with no problems... I checked the system info and it says it is Activated Genuine. I now have to wait the 29 days to see if it goes past it, but I am sure that it will. VERY GOOD JOB.

This is a very good UL. Although this is a good upload i have one problem. The update for Windows 7 (KB971033) is the activator killer . I have tried to bypass this three times with no success. If you have installed it and windows discovers the crack or modified keys, you will have to do a clean install all over. fair warning for all. Thanks KK

Okay so I followed the instructions to a -T- and inserted burnt disc, restarted, then nothing. I saw a comment a while back that someone left about being able to run the disc directly from "My Computer." This also does nothing. When I restart with the disc inserted it appears to take my computer longer to load and the cd drive is reading something yet picks up on nothing. I don't understand what to do. Please help.

For those having trouble, make sure you have burned the ISO to disk accurately. If you don't know how to do that, do a google search, and you will learn, and you will become a strong and noble pirate, just like God wants you to be. ;)
Question:
I suddenly got a UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME error today. I've tried to use the recovery console on the boot CD which I downloaded here. When I try, it puts me back to a "system recovery options" menu, which only gives me two options which don't work.
Any ideas or help?

To Anirudh345: You probably have a bad burn, for example I burned a WIN7 DVD last summer with build 7600 and it still works perfectly today, another DVD burned a few months ago comes up with install errors (file can't be read) so I threw it out and burned a new DVD from the ISO. The brand of DVD disk can be a problem with some DVD drives, I use Imation disks in my Samsung SuperWriteMaster drive for best results but other brands/DVD drives combo's may work for you.
To Xtra1979: I use Nero 8 and it works great for me. Any program that can burn ISOs and other image formats should work too. Just don't do any multitasking while the recording is running to avoid errors. Yes, I know all DVD burners support overrun/underrun protection and will resume burning automatically but I still don't want that happening so I always wait till the burn is done.
Question? Does this Windows 7 have the WAT remover by Hazar slippstreamed into it or does anyone know what the method of pre-activation is? Just curious as I have used both the Hazar RemoveWAT 2.2.5 and the Windows 7 Loader eXtreme Edition v3.502 with success so far.

Has Anyone Since Using This Torrent Experienced A Series of Blue Screens? I've Had This torrent for over 4 months now and everything is perfect as far as updates, etc. BUT however i keep getting blue screens every so often, like yesterday i got 5 in a row. i noticed this happens like everytime i power of the pc for a day or a couple hours, but my pc stays on for days and works perfectly, only when it comes to turning it off for a ling time and then turning it back on.
is this familiar to anyone who's been using this torrent?
i'm running Ultimate 64bit on 4gb ram with a core2duo 2.53ghz processor.
before i used this, i used the Windows 7 Ultimate AIO Activated one without the built in crack, and it worked perfectly WITH NO BLUE SCREENS whatsoever, i used it until the KB---- Update which deactivated it. so what am asking is, has this happened to any of you (including you KK)? or should i just try to re-install windows and see if this works? cuz am wondering if i should install this again, hoping that it will fix the problem. (P.S my hard drive is defragmented weekly and currently has no fragments whatsoever so it cant be the drive causing this, what could it be? of its not the OS 'torrent')?

Highly Highly Highly recommended. Don't use any other version of Windows 7, you won't be sorry. Pre activated, your choice of multiple versions, installed quickly and with no issues after burning the ISO with imageburn. Installed all updates EXCEPT the Genuine advantage tool update which I hid. The 'unregistered torrent' error is coming from the 'www.h337.com:3310' tracker. The other tracker; 'tracker.openbittorrent.com:80' works just fine. You can just ignore the error, it won't affect your download at all.

HOWEVER, my wife's machine told her last night that her copy of Windows is not valid, and it's freezing some functions.

WARNING: It appears that Microsoft is now able to flag this copy as invalid.
This was installed on two machines, with Windows update set to manual. I have discovered that Windows update somehow reset itself to full Automatic on both machines. [how the hell did it do that???]
My wife's machine updated itself yesterday and the OS was flagged as an invalid copy. In order to restore full functionality she now has to buy a licensed copy from Microsoft.
My machine is still working fine, but it hasn't updated since 4 days ago. I have turned Automatic update back to manual.
