If you mean for the .dll to be copied... it should be something like C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4..
In vista it will be \Program Files (x86)\...
Then just copy into there and it will ask to replace the old one :)

Thats what the amtlib.dll does... the activation is kinda two fold... the .bat file adds a blacklist of servers and the .dll just sorts out the licence.. if one goes down the other backs it up :)

Its just incase... if it did ask for a serial if say the amtlib.dll was fixed by an update then it would fall back on the activation loop... which requires a serial :P Trust the fish lol

Just select the amtlib.dll and copy it then go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 (\Program Files (x86\ for vista) then copy it into there... it will ask to replace the existing file, accept it :)

Well the same crack works on after effects... so just download youself the trial from Adobe (you dnt have to use a real email to register btw... no verification) and then use the crack files that are in here... you should only need the amtlib.dll...

It worked phenomenally. For those of you wondering about the .dll just drag the new one into prgram files and then click yes when it asks to override. There's only one thing I'm having trouble with, I blocked activation, entered serial, didn't register, everything works fine with the program, but I'm wondering, what do i do with the extracted files? like the folder that contains setup.exe? is that supposed to merge with the prgram files folder for dreamweaver, or are the extracted files not necessary anymore?
I don't know if this helps at all but I have:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4
and also the extracted files:
C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\Adobe CS4\Dreamweaver\Adobe CS4
So I have a blank folder on my desktop.
I have PowerISO, so if it can be used in this situation, let me know what to do.

Nevermind..hehe! I got it to work. Stupid me, I didn't install it completely. What I did was just double click the setup.exe file, then entered the serial number from there. I didn't install it as a trial. I can't believe I'm actually getting this for free! Thanks a bunch, Goldfish!!

hey, I just downloaded and I when I tried to open the setup file inside the downloaded folder an error message would pop up and say "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." I dont know why its showing that, Im the only user on the computer and AVG did say the setup file contains trojan, could it be that?

Hi Goldfish, I'm new to the site and have tried to insall Dreamweaver CS4 at least 10 times. Every time I install it (correctly or maybe not) then double click on it the dreamweaver initiation appears for a couple seconds like as though its starting up and then disappears and nothing else happens. Please tell me what to do before I throw my computer out the window. Thanks for any help

Yeh... that is a really common complaint with all Adobe suites and programs as i can see... might be the crack... might be them... either way just open the program, deactivate, recopy the amtlib.dll file then open Dreamweaver again and reactivate :)

Followed instructions to a T. Installed fine... but when I try to run Dreamweaver It tells me that the program has stopped working and that windows will search for a solution. 1) Some Anti Virus progs (esp AVG, AVAST/AVIRA) will flag KeyGens, and some other patches etc, as alien files. DO NOT PANIC! This is normal.
2) READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Still not sure? Then READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!! These boards are full of "Oops I didn't patch, and Oops I registered online!"
3) DO NOT REGISTER!!! Pay attention to what you are told, and if told disconnect NET while you install. Unless TOLD to do so, do not register or update online! That's the whole point.
4) You get to know the most reliable guys to get stuff off. You had a good experience with one, support him. These guys go to a lot of trouble to post the stuff so we can try before we buy the real thing!!
5) Give thanks where it is due!!!

Here's a tip for ya: NEVER, EVER, DOWNLOAD FROM LIMEWIRE!
Around 86% (guess) is filled with virusses when they are .exe's or .zip's or .rar's.
Also, Goldfish most likely didn't upload it to limewire, so it's best to download from here.
And not all crackers crack the same way, so some things are different in downloads ;).

Finally figured out my problem. It was my Lynksys Wrt350 Router. Once I disconnected from it everthing was fine. I'm noticing that when i download ANYTHING thru my router I have difficulty installing. Anyway THANKS VERY MUCH GOLDFISH!!! Everything works fine.

I'm having a bit of a problem, and I am beginning to think it doesn't have to do with the download... I got this from somewhere else too and still the same problem.
Anyway, my problem is that when I go to install, the installation get's stuck at 90 or 95%. This is soon after it starts to say it's installing Dreamweaver cs4.
No matter if I get rid of all my background tasks (meaning my firewall and anti virus and such aren't running) and disconnect my internet or not, it does the same thing.
It gives me a generic kind of installation error, error 1603. I've made sure the folder that I was trying to install to wasn't encrypted and all the other stuff the websites say to do when you goggle error 1603.
I've uninstalled (it says it's there in add/remove programs, but the actual Dreamweaver program isn't anywhere on my computer), reinstalled tried running the clean script... even got rid of all my other cs4 programs to see if they were doing some harm... nothing is working.
I looked through all the other comments here for help, and searched google for ages to find a solution... I'm not sure what else to do.. Any advice would be great?
I may just have to see if installing the cs3 version will work. =/

Goldfish, I bought a macro mx8 cd awhile back, with serial. I'm not sure if it was a ed version or can only be activated once with the serials, but I could never activate it. I knew that when I purchased it for 60 bucks on ebay that was the case. After installing and following all instructions, when I open the program I get the dreamweaver green intro box then the program closes before i even see the interface. Any ideas... The same thing happened when I installed the creative suite. All the programs work except dreamweaver. I double click the icon, I see the green start screen then the program closes. Hello after used 6 hours on the problem with the initazing files problem i finally found the issue.
after alot of search i found at that the problem is caused by Acer.
the problem is the program named Acer E-Data Security Management program.
if you go and uninstall it everything should work.

I agree that this is an excellent share (thanks Goldfish!) as the majority seem to be able to get working. Don't mistake my lack of success with being naive though. I can follow instructions (which are indeed simple), but appear to have some sort of 'quirk' that's causing the 1603 problem. As I mentioned earlier I'm also having this problem with the official trial so it's certainly not Goldfish's fault! I'm running XP Pro, plenty of space, disconnected net, registry cleared, firewall off, AVG disabled but still no joy. I'm still trying to figure out why and will post here if I have any success.

Right - my 1603 problem sorted!
No idea exactly what the problem was so I decided to get drastic:
1. Uninstalled EVERY Adobe product I had
2. Ran a CS3 clean up script
3. Ran the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
4. Performed a full registry clean and uninstalled anything adobe still remaining using CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com)
5. Downloaded and installed the official trial from adobe
Hey presto - it works!
I've decided to run with the trial for now so I can't comment on this torrent, but at least I've now got a working version installed to trial.

Solution: Go to Program Files - Common Files - Adobe - Adobe PCD - cache right click on cache.db and uncheck where it says for reading only. put the check back after the installation.
P.S. I tried this solution after I tried deleting all my Adobe software. However I believe the mentioned above solution should work without doing all of the unistalling.

I had installed Dreamweaver CS4 as a trial. I had 13 days left. I uninstalled it, and then reinstalled it. When I launched the newly installed program to select trial, I was again notified I had 13 days left. Adobe has my email address from the trial download 17 days ago. Before I run Activation Blocker.bat, I want to know if there is a way to disassociate my email address from the trial installation and avoid problems I've read about in some of the comments below? Or, must I do that at all? Or is there a way to remove the trial more thoroughly than I did the first time? Thanks a bunch! Got it first from demonoid but the keygen there did contain a virus (poor me for not listening my AV at first, knowing keygens often report a fals positives, but not in this case!). However it contained the orifinal installation instructions with your signature so I could find your torrent here, redownloaded and no problems found by Avast AV, all the files were the same just the keygen at demonoid was modified with a virus, but this one is different in size and clean! Beware of 100+Kb keygen! It might look the same as this but it's not.

For those that need a little more hand holding, you need a bittorrent client. I prefer Vuze. Download and install a bittorrent client, then when you open a torrent file the client opens and starts downloading the actual file.
Remember, once your file is finished downloading please keep your client open so you continue to 'seed' the file for others to download.

i get a virus scan saying i have TR/Dldr.bzw in keygen. However, i've already installed this, and have installed other of goldfish's uploads, so i think it's a false poz. every keygen will get flagged by antivirus. worst case, if you are on pc llike me, go into apple store with keygen on usb and see if it runs on apple. email yourself about 50 of the keygens and let apple deal with it if it was a virus, but a wiindows virus won't usually hit an apple and vice versa, particularly keygen. goldfish is usually very very safe.

user shadeyman also is good with adobe uploads and his keygens always get flagged by antivirus but i have NEVER had anything of his with a virus. there are quite a few good uploaders on here, i have them bookmarked, and trust just about anything they do. still it doesn't hurt to install first on something that is not your main computer. can't be too safe. i have a seperate folder called "setups" and it and all other media (music, pix, movies) are stored on a different hard drive, and a different computer sometimes. so if i fuck it up i can just wipe it without losing all my mp3's or even program setups. if it is a virus in it, i'll not delete setup file but i will change all extensions and put a big obvious text file titled "BOGUS with VIRUS and the name of the uploader and torrent site. hope this helps but i'm sure this one and this guy is legit. i think adobe deliberately has something set up to find if you used a keygen so watch it and follow all instructions precicely given by the uploader.

No Virus when I downloaded it months ago and it's been working great. However, I'm now getting this message when I start Adobe Acrobat Pro;
Adobe Acrobat was installed as part of a suite. To enable Adobe Acrobat, please start another component of this suite (such as Adobe Photoshop).
I d/l installed a lot of other software in the past few days so I wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing this same problem to help pinpoint the issue.

From downloading at 1.5Mb/s to following the flawlessly simple instructions, (that a complete moron would have to try damn hard to screw up) perfect. Thanx a bunch. --and to those of you who still think there's a virus in the keygen or whatever (HAHA) rest assured there is not. I might recommend setting your AV software to ignore the folder you download the initial files included in the release, as well as the folder where Dreamweaver is to be installed PRIOR to starting the download (as GF has been so wise to advise just this above). Often generated key files (.dll .crt and the like) will not rouse AV software until a later date when their databases update, so if you do not take precautions as such it's possible you will find yourself repeating the installation process which can be quite a pain.-- just a thought, thanx again GF!

I'm wondering if I did something wrong because I downloaded, disconnected from Internet, ran the Activation Blocker and over-wrote the amtlib file in the route directory. I then installed and ran it - All OK.

I installed it and its working fine(clean too) after i replaced the file (amtlib.dll) i opened up dreamweaver step 6) Run Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 and enter a serial using the keygen.
- it hasnt prompted me to enter a serial nor can I find a place to enter it. should i regester it or should i do nothing or am i missing the place to put it??? other than that its working fine.

For all the guys who asked "Where is the keygen". The keygen has a trojan horse contained. And it has! Not just a false positive ... Your antivirus program probably have deleted it by itself. Instead of using keygen, just check the comments and you find some registration keys.

ignore that i've figured it out. part of the properties window is missing because i had my dpi font scaling set to large, i just had to change it back to default (96 DPI). If anyone has same trouble right click on desktop- personalize- adjust font size (DPI)-Change to default! Done

Just select the amtlib.dll and copy it then go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 (\Program Files (x86\ for vista) then copy it into there... it will ask to replace the existing file, accept it :)

This doesn't seem to work. I follow the install instructions to the letter but when Dreamweaver has finished installing there's a message saying it's installed but with some errors.
When I double click the Dreamweaver icon to run the app I get the following message:

This copy of Dreamweaver really messed up my OS, ended up with multiple instances of wermgr.exe running and monopolising my CPU time meaning that anything else I tried to do took a very long time!
wermgr.exe is the Windows Problem Reporting tool but after some checking on the net I found out it can also be malware disguised as the Problem Reporting tool.
I'm absolutely sure it was this software that did it as I have not installed anything new for quite a while and Windows had been working fine before I installed Dreamweaver.
I had to do a whole load of uninstalling/reinstalling and registry cleaning to sort the problem.
Has anyone else had anything similar happen?

Guys, what happens if I did this out of order? First I ran the activation blocker (step 4), then I installed and activated (steps 2 and 6.) After it installed I ran the .dll file (step 5.)
So yeah, I just did it in a random order and it worked. Is that ok? Why does it have to be done in that order? And also, why do we have to disconnect our internet before doing it? (I didn't do it.)

all...everything went ok until i tried to run the keygen. it says: Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
this happens if i try to run it as myself or as admin.
i am using win7.
the activation blocker ran as admin from the same folder.
switched off the resident shield in AVG, and the keygen then worked ok.
