I have tried allot of mp3 -joiners out there and I find "101 MP3 Splitter" software to be the best.
It has ok GUI and it's really fast! I use it for my audiobooks! =) Search for it, it's not freeware. It use the same quality as your mp3-files when you join them, no need to do any settings.
