handheld widescreen encoding parameter calculator v2.0

THIS VERSION IS OUTDATED. PLEASE GET V2.1. -HR Hi, Sorry so quick with v2.0 but I decided needs more features (and fixes)!! Now calculates and displays actual viewing width and height. It also correctly calculates for Cell Phone. I forget that you need to pad cell phone to full frame also. -------------------------------------------------------- You all now have ZERO excuse for screwing up the sizing or AR of a handheld encode. Use this tool, you will be perfect everytime. -------------------------------------------------------- If you are encoding from DVD source to any profile other than PSP DVD you will need to CROP the video unless the video stream is actually 16:9. Use the CROPPED dimensions in the spreadsheet. Do not forget to pass the crop commands to your encoder -croptop X -cropbottom X -cropleft X -cropright X -------------------------------------------------------- Please realize you only need to enter Width and Height of source video you are trying to encode. Everything else is just calculations or setting up screen size. You can read the rest to learn, but do not modify it. Use the generated Width, Height, Aspect, and Padding values in your encoder program.
