I am the guy who edited this film...
I spent many long days, nights, and off hours with Abel while we edited this at Ross-Gaffney's at 21 West 46th Street in NYC, and I cannot ever recall Abel being with Pauline at all... Let's not buy into the hype of the Abel's publicity of his career...

Just finished watching this fabulous movie...
I noticed the rape scene has been cut... It was where Pauline is walking alone at night in Little Italy and is chased by two black men, (one of the actors, Ack Ming, was literally the prior day released from prison), and she is chased into a stairwell and overcome and double raped...
