hopes avi is on the way, just a question but why can I never find 720p avi files?
would be easier as I play them through a ps3.

It's customary to use a matroska container with HD video as AVI has a relatively small limit on how big a file can be (2 or 4 GB, iirc). It might be fine in this case, but... You could always use vlc or mplayer to stuff the video in an avi container, though this would require some techincal knowhow.

use gootsent for converting ur mkv files to mp4 containers doesnt take long and no conversion of video file so same quality

i meant gotsent its free can be used for ps3 and x360 and can also convert them 2 avchd files for playing on ps3 from disk

"tsMuxer". That thing can remux the MKV into a .ts or .m2ts to be played on the PS3.

Guys if you cant play any video file, just download latest BS Player, and it will automaticly find all codecs you need....
Or you can use VLC media player, you dont get
problems with codec here....
