Sound Taxi + KeyGen = Removes DRM from media!

Sound Taxi is an awesome program used to strip media of DRM protection. Do you have a huge library on iTunes and cant transfer it to another machine? This will fix that. You can also go download Rhapsody. Rhaposody is only about 14 bucks a mo but will let you download any music to your computer for offline listening. You can then run sound taxi to strip that music of its DRM and do what you want with it. Pretty simple. Dedicated downloads supper fast way to get what you want and as much of it as your hard drive can hold. Please help me seed this file! It is small at only 7.5 megs or so. That is compressed. Uncompressed the file is still like 7.65. Inhalation: Open file with winZip or 7zip. Extract files anywhere on C: Run the installer. Ive made around 8 gigs of flawless CD Quality music at 192k sample rate with this puppy. I have been using it for a long time. Best app I have seen for this. If you like it you can go to the link in the info file and buy a license for $14.95 that way you will get updates for it. I have never needed an update though, this program is solid.

Sorry... hack doesn't work. Still brings up a registration screen. Granted, the screen DOES have registration code and a key already filled in, but it doesn't work.
I think this is a fake. Probably put up to get you to purchase it with a false registration method. I tried a couple installs and removals, with the same results. Followed the install directions perfectly.

works like a charm. I'm glad I tested the software, I 'borrowed' a huge lot of purchased iTunes m4p songs from my niece and since they're not registered to my iTunes account, found out they will not convert.
You HAVE TO OWN any songs you try to convert with this software!! I had even had trouble with my Yahoo! music jukebox songs on my PC. Sound Taxi tried to register the songs unsuccessfully.
Anyone have better software?

Here's an update... and I feel like a DRM noob.
This program WILL convert iTunes music IF you own it or have the rights to it. In fact, your PC has to be authorized for ANY song you want to convert.
I tried converting my music from Yahoo!(tm) music service and I got a license popup warning. Turns out I just needed to refresh my license. If you have the songs from the service on your PC for more than 30 days, the lic expires.
No worries... refreshed the lic on all the songs and BAM!! Sound Taxi converted them all. One 'bug' in the program tho'... if you choose 190kpbs (should be 192 anyway), it converts at 320. Choose "220" and it converts at 256. Choose 94 and it converts at 224. WTF? No worries tho, sounds EXCELLENT. Great program! If you like it, buy it. But it's defective, so maybe I shouldn't have to? ;)

Hi I'm the original poster.
I just tried installing this on yet another computer and it worked flawlessly as usual.
You MUST install this to your C:/ Drive otherwise when the activator.exe file runs it will set the registry entries to C: and not to the drive you installed on. You can fix this by editing the registry keys manually to the drive you installed on.
Hkey_LocalMachine/Software/SoundTaxi
Change the path entries to the desired destination folder.
Yes this does do iTunes and mp4.
You must run the activator! The software will generate a security code during the install based on your systems unique SID (NTFS Security IDentification) Number. That number is built from serial numbers off your hardware. So in order to get the key right you need to run the activator to do the math for you.

Yes you must refresh your licenses. That is one of the reason why DRM sucks and you should DL this.

So freaking pissed i cant get it to work, been trying 2hr's now and about 5 re-installs (which includes 5 bloody shutdown restart) followed instruct to the T but the codes are not accepted, and cant find where else they might be besides the ones the program generates on its own...., also the codes "imtigger 3" provided dont do it.... any help?

tried this with both my vista and XP machines. Didn't work on either. I had the same activation probs with my XP and it caused all sorts of problems with my Vista machine. I don't recommend anyone with Vista installing this -- I had to boot in safe mode in order to remove it as it locked up my machine on startup.

If this is the same torrent that I have, it'll work on vista win7. The "activator" you have to right click on it first and run as an administrator.
Run the program.
The registration window will pop up and displays your system ID.
Use this system id in the keygen, and it'll spit out a serial. Use it one more time to get the activation code.

Do not use the Activator included if you have Windows 7. After running it my computer was consistently freezing up until I did a System Restore. This torrent MAY work if you use the keygen, but I opted to just download a different torrent altogether. Just a heads up, be careful!

My CPU usage spiked durring install and didn't drop again. Got an entire system freeze and had to angry reboot. Then on restart my system hangs untill finally everything starts and I'm greeted with a handful of pop-up windows with adds.
