Rational folk worldwide patiently await the day when the nonsense that is religion is completely forgotten. Then we can finally leave superstition in our dark past and look forward to a far brighter future.
If religion itself isn't the direct cause of a given war, you can damn well bet that those pushing for said war will utilize religion as a tool in order to garner recruits.
Our cemeteries are filled with the bodies of the credulous, conned into going to war for someone else's goals.
