With FLAC you get long lasting quality and it can be converted to a lesser quality like MP3 any time you want.

Ya, for stuff like this my vote's flac, every time. You can batch-convert to mp3 in Audacity if you want, takes less than a minute. A 4yrslate thanks again mjs, tons.
