Prototypical creationism: Ignorance and lies. These people are despicable, and this text is a risible piece of trash - like all creationist material.dingoat (2008-07-06)

Things like this book, is why the Banana Republic to the south is so backward. But hey, don't take my word for it, instead read:

Yeah, I know I'm being mean. But it really pisses me off when you see what is happening down there, especially from a moral point of view. The Bush Administration has back stabbed their religious backers so badly that it is beyond belief, and the major religious leaders are apparently too dim to see it.
How? Let me see. Arsenic in drinking water. Mercury power plant emissions. Sugar and other processed foods. Fuel Economy regulations. Second hand tobaco smoke.
And what do these have in common with religion? Easy, each of these areas hurts the parishoners of those religions. They are sicker, die sooner, and they don't know why. The why is simple. Industry doesn't want to clean up, and while sucking up to various religions officially, the bushites don't really care about them, and are more than happy if they die, as long as the big money boys from industry keep sending the cash.
Anyone who claims to be religious has not choice but to vote democrat in November, if they don't the blood of innocents will be on their hands.

Instead of bleating on about creation or evolution, why not stop wasting time with your offensive comments about this torrent and get out more! Stop boring the rest of us with your own ideas. If I want to beleive evolution, if I want to believe creation, if I want to believe both, I will. I'll do whatever I feel like doing. Stop moaning, stop pretending you're intellgent and don't bother responding to me. Romper stomper!zpaset (2012-12-16)
Scientific theory, a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment.Scientific method, a method or procedure that has characterized natural science since the 17th century, consisting in systematic observation, measurement, and experiment, and the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses.
As an Earth scientist creationism is a fucking insult to humanities intelligence and creativity. I've given up trying to cure their stubborn ignorance.
Rant over :)

@zpaset"Scientific theory, a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment".
Evolution is not repeatedly confirmed. Firstly, there is no evidence in sedimentary rocks of the famous 'prebiotic soup', contrary to the general
opinion that it is an established fact Besides all the other problems with dating systems (which no two scientists agree on); no evidence of transitional forms, etc., does not help to categorize it with the established sciences. Established sciences embody irrefutable facts. Not so Darwinism. Much of it is speculation in support of a certain philosophy.
