Supported Compiler Changes MathWorks refreshes its compiler support every release, occasionally dropping support for an older version of a compiler in favor of a newer and more readily available version. MathWorks is planning the following compiler changes: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express: Support will be dropped as of R2012a; Windows SDK v7.1 will be the supported free Microsoft tool chain going forward. Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Professional: Support will be dropped as of R2011b. Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0: Support will be dropped as of R2012a. Intel C++ and Fortran Compilers: Support for v11.1 will be dropped as of R2012a. Support for v12.0 is anticipated beginning with R2011b. It does contain the curve-fitting toolbox.
Look at the files in the ISO (like you can on any cd). Then you will see there is a crack folder with an install.txt file. It's pretty clear.

First of all: Thanks for uploading it, awesome job!
I downloaded this torrent file, and whenever I try to install it (click the 'setup.exe') it notifies me that I have to insert a certain 'disk' (after confirming installing MatLab) in slot #1. The irony is, that my laptop doesn't even HAVE a disk drive... Could anybody help me out here? I own a 'Packard Bell Dot S'.

I downloaded this on one of my computers and it worked fine. I'm now trying to install it on a second computer, and I am having trouble running the "lic_standalone.dat" file. Windows says that it cannot open the file, then gives me the option to open it using different programs. What type of file is this? What can I use to open it?

This says it's an .iso but it needs to be unzipped to access. Otherwise when you attempt to mount it, you will fail.

I installed it successfully, but how the heck am I suppose to open it ?? coz there is no shortcut and no folder shown in start menu.
