Please calm down. No need to go Johnny Jihad on us American "Infidels" and all that hype, we're all here for the same reasons. Most movies suck these days and we're not going to spend hard earned Euros, Pesos, Rupees, Rubles, Riyals, Kronas, Pounds & Dollars to buy DVDs and go to Cinemas that show shit movies and offer no refunds. At least this way, if we like something, we can support the product through purchasing the DVD or BluRay.

lawyer says "taking out the tibula" subtitles say "taking out the timber log"?! the english dialogue isn't much better either because correct me if Im wrong but there is no such bone as the tibula, fibula and tibia yes but tibula? Then the lawyer says.."crushed under the vehicles of a car" I mean..wtf? lol
besides all the mistakes in dialogue and subs this was an ok film, even though it was a complete rip off of the far superior "Dog day afternoon" with Al Pacino

what a great little film!! this sort of film has more thinking and action behind it than any of your transporters or quantums of solace put together. everything about it, van damme's superb performance, a tour de force playing 'himself', the camerawork, the score, the story, the running time... for once (like brian dennehy said when he made 'belly of an architect') van damme has contributed to cinema, and not just 'movie-filmdom'. wonderful stuff.

To all that have problem with the sub. the reason is because the name's of the video file and the srt file aren't the same to fix that just follow these steps
before

Yes, forgott to say one more thing. It is only good that FXG_team provids with english subtitles. You can chose if you want thise subtitles or not. For me, I can enjoy the movie more if I can read what they are saying. I read more thean heare. Sounds strange? It is because I have a condition called Aspergers syndrom, a form of autism. I, and others with this problem, does not remember words that good but when I, we, read, we memories allmost everything. I say therefor, English subtitles is needed for english movies!

I particularly appreciate FXG for their subs and thank them endlessly. It's very much a pain to have to hunt down and time other's subs to a movie. My mother was deprived of her ability to hear as a young child and has relied on subtitles to enjoy movies. Thanks a million!

There is very little acting in JCVD.
Whereas in many of Van Damme's previous films a critic making that statement would be citing a lack of quality, in this feature it accredits a precision of craftsmanship that connects you with more than the confessions of a pressed spirit - it connects you with the hopes of a wavering one.
Without a doubt one of the most poignant stories I have ever witnessed, JCVD reminds me that judgment is not a sentence - it's just a puppet on a soapbox.
With commanding performances all round and a crew supporting a fresh perspective on editing, cinematography and score as well as a script that can't help but being original, I know why I've lost my faith in the Academy Awards as a credible institution if the only response they have to film is --- .
