BORED? Tired of MODS? Want more players and challenges?To play more mutliplayer, you will need to:
1) Uninstall, then install this version of Halo (Combat Evolved). This is to uninstall any updates later than 1.00, so you can connect to more players.
2) Download and install Halo CUSTOM EDITION, the expansion pack of Combat Evolved. They are two separate games.
3) Download "Halo version changer" from Ganadur, and apply the files into your Halo directories. Those files will prevent your game from checking for updates. The updates will connect you to less players. If you accidentally installed the updates, then uninstall your updated Halo client, and install it again.
4) Download Xfire, a third party game client, to play on Xfire Custom Edition and/or Xfire Combat Evolved servers.
By doing all of the steps above, you will get a total of FOUR different multiplayer servers to play with!
