Description:

"Two JD's for me Larry Love....and that's bottles!!!!" As a fan of Sweet Pretty Country Acid House music I have been shocked that Alabama 3 are under-represented on torrent sites...so here's the best selection I can put together. These are CD's bought over the years in shops and at gig's, as well as a couple of downloads. For those of you only familiar with the post-soprano's fame of A3, you've missed out on 15 years of madness, I have been into A3 since they were performing with gogo dancers and neon pink syringes onstage, since Larry Love would run on singing 'Cocaine Killed My Community' under the guise of 'Semtex The Urban Terrorist'. The roots of this band extend all the way from the dirty streets of Brixton, back to the Long March and all the way back to Johnny Cash and the Delta blues. I have seen them play live more than any other band, indeed they have let me get in free to sound checks and performances in the past. They are cracking, very intelligent musicians who have a message, indeed D.Wayne Love has met Willam Burroughs when the latter lived in London. They have been honing their weird craft for years and only those with true grit will get to the bottom of what they are about. Included: Exile on Coldhabour Lane La Peste Power in the Blood Outlaw M.O.R Last Train to Mashville Volumes 1 & 2 Live in Dublin A Variety of Singles including many great B-Sides and remixes Zero Tolerance and A3 Remixes albums that are gig only releases. Enjoy. I also have the A3 Live DVD and will upload that in due course. And remember "Whatever you fuck your brain with it's a lie...it's a god damn lie." www.alabama3.co.uk www.freeA3.org

I wonder if these nice guys would let you in to their soundchecks if they knew that you distribute their material in the Internet.

see that cunt above me he can go fuck himself
A3 are the best live band goin and to get all this material on 1 download is ace!
uluday much respect for the upload

uluday (2008-04-06)

Thanks for the kudos, yes I think Kuutamo-mies is a fucking cunt. Just to set the record straight, this is a torrent that I agonised over as since I got into downloading I have stopped buying CD's. Indeed the only band whose records I do buy is Alabama 3, so it was something I thought a bit hypocritical in a way. However, what's the choice between exposure and money? I would like to think that the pursuit of art supercedes financial rewards.
Alright preaching done, that said I am about to put up more A3 torrents...I have just located the copy I have of the A3 DVD, and something very special that hasn't been around for over ten years, and not that many copies exist anymore.
I hope this doesn't offend anyone...KK1690 and mrdunc, you're alright.
cheers. RP.

nice 1 uluday.I too have all A3 stuff on originals but using this torrent enabled me to put all the stuff 2 gether on one disc to give out to all the ppl that i am converting into A3 fans!!!
Alabama 3 are not in the music business 4 the money,if they were they would be releasing singles for to get in the charts. They prefer their cult following of fans who attend every gig they can get to. If that guy who left the nasty comment were to see them live he would soon be hiding that comment!! will seed this 1 4ever

uluday (2008-04-19)

Hombre!!
A3 are the only band I actually care about man, obviously you feel the same about them. Excellent.
I'm going to put up at least one new torrent tomorrow...you'll like it.

Thank you so much for sharing! I would never gone to half the shows I've been to if I had not saved the money I do on buying music. Most artist don't make hardly anything on there albums anymore. They make most of there money on playing shows. I would rather give money to the band than the fat cat record company

tomfisher (2010-01-20)

thanks man, not so much for the albums, ive got them already, but the remixes and b sides are ace.
much love.
