if you want adding drivers support to dvd boot you must put the Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd folder on your desktop then put kexts you want add to dvd extensions in this folder (you can find natit for at hd in this folder) and run Add_kext_to_dvd_boot.command !!!

You need to tell your BIOS to check your flash card for a bootable OS on powerup. You can do so in your BIOS setup program - just hit some special key (usually delete) when the first boot screen appears after computer is turned on. You can find this magical key either on the boot screen or in your motherboard manual. Once you are in the setup program, navigate your way to the boot sequence options (usually under 'advanced bios settings'). It is the sequence in which BIOS checks your storage devices until it finds something bootable. The usb flashcard may be labelled as 'add-on cards' or smthing like that. Make sure you place it before your hdd in the boot sequence, so that it is probed first. Don't ask how to operate your BIOS setup here, refer to your motherboard man or in-setup help.

Installed on empty HD with no changes in customize. Toshiba Satellite L45-S7423
Wifi airport not working. But Sound, Ethernet, DVD worked.
Had to disable multi cores in BIOS in order to boot Leopard. After I installed I do anything in darwin. Removed DVD upon restart and waited like 7 minutes for Leopard to start. Stared a Blue screen for the majority of the time. But it eventually started. Had to Be very Patient after the install.
If anybody can help me with these issues: wifi not working,disabling of dual cores in BIOS and the slow boot up time. That would be great.

I been trying to upgrade but unsuccessful, at the "Installing" screen, when it's about 60% done, it say "about 13 minutes" remaining, the bar won't move (mouse can still move). I have a better solution for all you people who can't use this idiots torrent because it's too complicated. Search the .dmg version, and look up the way to boot off of a dmg, and you'll find it. I did this, and I'm typing from Leopard now. It's so easy, and yet convenient.

anyone with problems getting it to work with a dvd, just get an external hard-drive, or get a cable that makes any hard-drive external, I have one of those, I really recommend that, if you have a bunch of extra hard drives laying around. Anyway, use disk utility to format the hard-drive, and to partition it with like a 4 or 5 gig space. Put that on there, then in toast you can mount it, as if it were a dvd, or at least that's how I did it.

Hey! Thanks for the ISO is great. I have a question though, i install it on my system ASUS T3-P5G965 Intel Socket T(LGA775) Intel G965 Barebone, with a Pentium D dual core 3 GHz. it comes with an integrated GMAX3000 graphics card. The problem is that i cannot make the OS X go above 1024x768. My monitor supports 1280x1024 but the system just show 1024x768. How can y configure the Kalyway release 10.5.2 to go up to 1280x1024? Hello all, I hope someone can help me, i'm using an AMD Phenom quad core processor (2.4 x 4) with a 500gb hdd with a partition, one for windows server 2008 and the other one hopefully for this Kalyway's Leopard 10.5.2.
Will it be ok for me to install this leopard on the other partition instead of installing it on the entire hdd, as that way it will go over the windows server... And I will lose all my data.
Can someone advise of how this can be done please...

ekaul yes it should work with your windows server edition on the other partition however make sure that your compnets are compatible with thise because almost none of mine are and so the only thing i use it for is to burn dmgs. so you should be fine doing what you need to do with this. i did the same thing i quad boot windows server windows vista ubuntu and this i will soon be quinbooting though:)

I just burnt the imgage on dvd without any problems, i restarted my pc got to the boot screen, pressed f8 typed it -v it then went to load the files kernels etc and then my pc just restarts??? i cant even get to the install part it just restarts?
am i doing anything wrong i even typed in -s but still just restarts? i even tried not typing in -v or -s and jus pressing enter, again just restarts...

i even typed in -v -x -y cpus=1 which was in a video, this looped which looks like a very long batch process and at then end my pc just restarts :( im going to make a copy of the iso to DVD again, incase the first time it got corrupted somehow....

I jus burnt the iso to dvd again using ULtraISo using the lowest speed possible (4x) the first dvd i made was using nero 8...
i restarted pc pressed f8 typed -v it loads some hsf+ files then pc restarts, i tried again this time i typed -s no luck same thing happend again, i then just pressed enter, no luck again....
I then typed in -v -x -y cpus=1 again no luck it looped the massive batch process and pc restarted...
I then typed in -v -x -f cpus=1 with and without the cpus=1 again no luck batch process and px restarts!
Am i suppose to be pressing or typing something else? this Leopard must be compatible with my pc as i mentioned earlier i have an AMD processor...

I just tried typing -legacy and cpus=1 -legacy but that didnt work either....
I ran a md5 checksum on the downloaded file, and compared the md5 hash to the one on the torrent and the checksum matched, which means the file is exactly the same...
I burnt it twice using the slowest speed and with both dvd's the same error occurs, it crashes and my pc restarts!

eukaul? when it says like press any key to boot from dvd or hit f8 for startup options just hit any key and you'll get the gay apple screen that loads for like 2 minutes then since your going to use a fat32 partition when you start you want to open disk utility and reformat the fat32 to mac os jourlnaled? otherwise known a hfs+ then install it on the partition and it'll finish then your computer will restart by itself and give you a cute little screen that says it's done installing and your computer will restart itself then after that you should get the little registration things where you put in all your crap but i'm not sure about that because i'm yet to make it that far because mine always crashes before i get there:(

hey guise. i got EVERYTHING working ALMOST.
DL - Yes
Burn - Yes
Install - Yes
Boot Option - Yes
Successful Boot - No
It seems that after booting up in OSx86 i get a grey background, apple logo, and EVERLASTING spinning loader button.
I left it on overnight without any boot, same repeating animation.
Also, i am dual booting with WinXP Pro. No problems running that.
What should i do? (I tried -s and -v, nothing)

hit any key DON'T hit F8. then it should bring you to the instaltion screen

I've got Atheros AR5007 wifi adapter. When I booted the PC from this DVD, during loading it said that loading atheros something something was unsuccessful.
Would that be a problem? Or will that problem go away during the install?
Or, does ndiswrapper work? Or would madwifi-ng-r2756+ar5007 work on macos, too?

TO SAVE TIME.
I will just explain here.
Before you start the installation (Choose where to install ect.) You need to go to he apple menu bar at the top.
1. Click Utilities
2. Click Disk Utilitie
3. Click on the HD partition you want to use
4. Erase it making sure you use the MAC OS Extended (Journaled) you can name it what you want.
5. Then once the partition has ben erased (Completed)
6. Press the Red Circle (X) in the top left corner of the window.
7. Now Start the installation as normal, and the error message should not appear.

Installed beautifully. Tried Leo4all and it boot into install at all. Kept getting the dreaded "Still Waiting for Root Device" error. Popped Kalyway in the drive and it installed perfectly even displayed my 8800GT at full resolution. (Something Leo4all wouldn't do before) Still trying to get my ethernet and X-FI working but I'm sure I'll get it with a little tweaking. Thanks!

Problem was FAT32 related (i think), solved now. Just reformat the partition as HFS, and it should work. Now, if I only knew how to manually install some drivers dlded from the net for an antique x1300 video card ...

I get to the prompt (after f8) and I press -s, and it only boots a few lines of code..(like 5) and then my system restarts....

Yes, a few of the kernels have x64 support, and so it will work on a 64 bit AMD
And as far as the programing for the iphone, I cannot give you a straight forward answer, but what I can tell you is that because Mac has moved to using intel processors now, there is almost virtually no difference in hardware between macs and pcs, and the only real difference is software, so if you are able to do it in regular osx, you most likely will be able to do it in this, as this is a full blown osx operating system, and not just a cheap emulator

So just to make COMPLETELY SURE.... I can install this on a partition, correct? I know a few OS X PC releases that I downloaded in the past required it to be installed on it's own drive because it would erase everything that was there.

Nevermind the last comment... I bit the bullet and just went for it and can confirm that it can be installed on a partition.
I had a few mishaps with my bootloader (tri-booting Slackware Linux, Vista, and now this) and then my graphics but fixed the first via threads found on insanelymac.com and then followed the directions here regarding black/blue screens and I've now successfully booted!
Beautiful! Everything works absolutely perfectly. I had tried installing a few past various releases and always ran into problems that I couldn't fix.
Finally it's working! Wonderful upload and THANKS SO MUCH! I'm absolutely ecstatic.

if you want adding drivers support to dvd boot then put kexts you want add to dvd extensions in this folder (you can find natit for at hd in this folder) and run Add_kext_to_dvd_boot.command !!!
i guess you are french but just to give you an idea this is how it reads in french (i am from quebec)
si tu veux ajouter du support pour pilote au dvd de demarage alors mets le ktexts que tu veux ajouter a l'extension dvd dans ce dossier (tu peut trouver natit pour a hd dans ce dossier) et execute Add_kext_to_dvd_boot.command

Ok, successful install. Burned using Nero 8 "burn image"
Comp Specs:
Asus AI Mboard
P4 3.0ghz w/HT
2 GB DDR2 RAM
Nvidia GF 7600GS
Logitech Wireless mouse and keyboard worked fine
OS was up and running, a few problems occurred:
Apps/Software
1. System Information Application crashes
A few other applications crashed at start up or crashed repeatedly.
Hardware
1. Nvidia Card only displayed at 1024x768 and it didn't seem direct hardware acceleration was being used. Display application in system preferences only showed that resolution
2. No network support using the following network cards:
Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter (wireless PCI card)
Asus/Marvell Yukon 88E001/8003/8010 PCI Gigabit Ethernet Controller (built-in)
Also, my Belkin 54g Wireless USB/Flash did not work either. Airport (apples built in wifi app) did not detect either of my wireless devices.
3. No Audio - Creative X-Fi did not work (as expected), did not attempt to use AC97 built in.
4. All files on my secondary partition that i dropped in from Vista were visible and accessible in MAC OS, was read/write accessible with known file formats.

Other notes: Attempted to switch kernel which resulted in OS corruption, would not reboot and required re-install
To get to Darwin console, hit f8 repeatedly after bios screen. If prompted to select a boot device by the bios, hit f8 after selecting your HD
Suggestions: Use a secondary partition and drop some Mac drivers (especially video & network !!) on it in case you are not internet ready on boot.
Overall the instructions are extremely poor for adding driver support, anyone with the knowledge of getting your pci network card detected and running would be appreciated.

Also to let you know - I installed that OS on a newly created primary partition using Acronis Disk Suite. This will not however make it 'mac ready'
When the install for OSX comes up, open the Disk Utility in the Tools menu. You must then erase that, I selected 'mac extended'.
Also note I did not dual boot. This was a clean install without xp or vista on another partition on a Western Digital HD

Alright. Let's start with a thank you to all the seeders. It was a relatively fast download, and for that I thank you.
There were no viruses in this file. It is safe to download.
Now onto the problems. First, I had trouble burning the ISO to a disk. Although, that was my fault. My DVD burner needed new Firmware.
After I burned the disk to DVD, I popped it in and tried to install. Only to be confronted with a daunting black screen with words saying "/com.apple.Boot.plist not found"
Booting back into XP, I took apart the ISO file, and found that the file was in fact there.
After doing a bit of research, I found the problem. My CD Drive is an IDE drive. Not a SATA Drive.
Therefore this file, cannot be booted from an IDE drive. I suggest you check to make sure yours is SATA/IDE before you start to download.
(This is what I have came across. If you know otherwise, let me know. [email protected] - Any help would be nice)
Anyways, thanks to all you seeders. It was nice to get a fast download. And thanks for the file, even though I cannot use it.

Please note thatn this torrent is for those of us that dont still think Internet Explorer is the internet and that PC's don't need antivirus (in other words, IDIOTS). Stop saying "why doesnt this work on my computer with ... parts" because the problem is not the hardware, its you. As long as you select the proper kernel, patches, and hotfixes you will be fine. If you still get an error, throw away your install disc, stop trying, and seed the torrent so that people that know what they're doing can get it. I have burn the iso several times on one speed and more several burning tools.
Everytime after starting-up the disc and pressing f8 and enter i see 5 lines on the screen and then the system reboot again and the proces starting again.

None of the Osx installs will work on my HP dv7 1285dx, ive tried kalyway, iDeneb, and iAtkos, but none of them will work, iDeneb and iAtkos don't even see my hard drive, but kalyway does and it starts installing then it says cant install error on volumes/ OS x Leopard (what i named hard drive partition) and it says to reboot and try again and Ive tried it with all the kernels, can anyone help?

This torrent is crap. It's a spoof, I burn it to my DVD, dvd burning checks out. I pop it in my PC, it starts to load and then restarts my PC, then goes back to the screen to load, restarts, loops over and over never getting anywhere.

-This ISO is in perfect condition, but once you booted from it, and you have successfully partitioned your hard drive (in function of installing MAC OS X) on your PC.
-Therefore, after installation and when running OS X, be sure that when you search from "software update" that you do not select the "Mac OSX Combined update version 10.5.7". It will automatically detect that your Operating System and system properties do not comply to Apple hardware/firmware. And will block you from reloading OS X after restart. So i keep version 10.5.2 and it runs very nice, the only thing is that Java and certain type of softwares require the 10.5.7 update installed.

Everything worked perfect right away.
The only option I chose was the third party software pack.
