@Paranoid_Rocker: 1920x1080 h264 will easily lag even on modern computers if the decoder is slow and / or does not support hardware acceleration (and stock M$/Apple/Adobe decoders are slow, use ffdshow DXVA for video playback, or ffmpeg-mt if the video board does not support DX10).
