2008 PSP Homebrew Library - compiled by Drunk Vegan (DVD size)

After about two years away from the PSP homebrew scene, I needed to do some heavy searching in order to be able to catch up and find out what was out there. I decided to browse through a file library and download everything in it, keeping only the latest version of each release. As I went along, it occurred to me to put together a collection that I could share with others comprised of everything from 2008. In order to use these games and applications, you MUST have the following: * A PSP which has been modded/hacked to enable running user made homebrew. Currently PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 series are both hacked, but not PSP-3000 yet. - If you'd like to find out how, Google "Pandora's battery" and "PSP downgrader" * Custom firmware updated to latest version. I recommend either 5.00 M33-4 or the newly released 5.02 GEN-A as of January 2009 - check websites such as psp.brewology.com, psp-hacks.com, psp-news.dcemu.co.uk, and dl.qj.net for the latest CFW available. * Basic knowledge of installing an EBOOT on a PSP. If you don't know how, ask someone on any of the dozens of PSP forums out there, such as forums.qj.net. In cases of multi-releases designed for 1.50 homebrew PSPs and 3.xx custom firmware PSPs, I have included only the CFW version of the file. Anything marked as being for a particular custom firmware, 4.01 or 3.xx for example, is compatible with later versions, such as 5.00 M33-4. Anything designed for a 3.xx kernel or higher * should * run on a Slim PSP, as well as any file marked with Slim at the end. All files should be compatible with the original PSP Phat/PSP-1000 unless marked as Slim Only. Only one version of each game or application is included, unless there is another version significantly different (e.g., having Slim support in one release and Phat in another, or being an Unofficial mod version). Unofficial releases are marked with a UO in the filename. These files were downloaded almost exclusively from the list of downloads on psp.brewology.com, except where the files from that site were corrupted, and at the end of 2008, where I drew from multiple sources to make sure as much as possible was included. The library consists of the following: 387 themes 347 games 103 miscellaneous applications 53 operating systems/shells 50 audio programs/files 45 graphics programs/mods 44 development/programming tools 41 emulators 35 PDA applications 24 game applications 24 theme creation tools 23 video applications 22 file transfer/management programs 20 educational files 18 recovery tools 13 communications programs 12 internet portals 8 security/encryption apps 2 emulator packs and 1 Slim-friendly 3.xx homebrew pack The library contains a total of 1,254 games, applications, and themes, and is 6.4 GB in size. This collection can fit onto one Dual-Layer DVD, two regular DVDs, or 10 CDs. This is not intended to be a * complete * library of all PSP homebrew files released in 2008, but it is as nearly complete as one person can hope to do with limited time to devote to compiling it. This is an edited version of something I posted on Mininova and Demonoid, etc, a few weeks ago, but could not post here because it was higher than the 1000 file size limit which The Pirate Bay has.
The only things that were removed are two audio programs and a PSP programming tool.
Just woke up, looks like my client had an error so this did not seed last night, but it's going now. I've got a 3mbit upstream so it should not take long to get this out.
