Big Big Worid Emilia Rydberg Emilia Rydberg (born 5 January 1978, Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish ballad/pop music singer, mostly known for her hit "Big Big World". Emilia was discovered in 1996 by Lars Anderson, son of ABBA's manager, Stig Anderson. Rydberg's father is Ethiopian singer Teshome Mitiku; and her mother is Swedish. In 2009 she competed in Melodifestivalen, the Swedish national selection for Eurovision Song Contest, with the song "You're My World." She advanced directly from her heat to the final; however, she placed 9th in the overall final. Trivia *Her debut single 'Big Big World' was a hit on US radio making a peak of #15 on ARC Weekly Top 40 chart on 23rd January 1999. *'Big Big World' was very popular in the UK and reached #5 in the UK Singles Charts in December 1998. *"Big Big World" was also featured on Now That's What I Call Music! 5 (Asia). *Vietnamese-American singer Trish Thuy Trang, made a cover version of "Big Big World" for her album I'll Dream Of You. *"Big Big World" was also used in the Hong Kong television series, Detective Investigation Files IV. *German techno group Scooter sampled "Big Big World" on their single "And No Matches", taken from the 2007 album Jumping All Over the World. ***Big Big Worid.*** Enjoy!
