The movie stars Raven-Symon�© as college-bound teen Melanie Porter, who goes on a road trip to different colleges with her father, a police officer, played by Martin Lawrence, who is afraid of her moving far from home. The film also stars Brenda Song as college-bound teen Nancy, who surprises Melanie on her road trip along with her friend, Katie, played by Margo Harshman. Memorable scenes include her father breaking into a sorority house where she is staying, where he hides and oversleeps, causing them to miss their plane flight; an outdoor wedding reception being destroyed by the family\'s pet pig; and also a later scene where Mr. Porter and his panicked daughter must parachute from a plane.
