The film is not dubbed to german, that is the film original language. The film where made in two versions, one in english and one in german. Sometimes but not often IMDB has wrong, like in this case, but if you watch this film it is obviously that the actors speeks german.
The english subtitles sucks, I would like to know if the person who made those speaks neither german or english, because he or she lacks of knowledge in both languages.

I'm 12-minutes in and I've come here to complain about the subtitles too, heh. They're not utterly incomprehensible but they do require you to think every now and then with some of the odd phrasing and mistakes. I've done some searching and there is a better copy out there with supposedly improved subtitles (1.6GB video, if you're looking for it), I'm going to try that instead.
