Macro-virus written in VBA language (Visual Basic for Applications), which infects Word documents within MS Office 97, 2000, XP and 2003.
Usual method of spreading of these macro-viruses is when infected document is opened the macros are moved to the standard template (NORMAL.DOT), this ensures it is running every time you run Word. After this it then infects all documents that you are working on.
After macro-virus infection we recommend you to check security level settings of MS Office applications - many of these macro-viruses disable the security warning alerting you that you are about open a document containing macros.
