Not an ISO, it has individual files that is supposed to be in a DVD when packed in ISO. I've downloaded the readme file. Seems legit though, but not in ISO, and of course no crack yet.

Why don't you people just buy this game? It is only $20. 2ksports needs to be rewarded because finally someone stepped up and made a good PC sports game. Not like EA, with their shitty PS2 ports. 2ksports released this game as a port of the xbox 360 version and only for $20! Go support them so we can see more of the same. If this gets big sales, there's no doubt we'll see madden 2010 (PC- 360 version) and NBA 2010.

You're taking only one angle into consideration ("the game's $20, why don't you people buy it?") but i'm guessing you live in a country where a) internet speeds are high (at least 2.0 mbps) or b) games are available quickly in stores soon after launch.
Not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to buy a game and play it as soon as it's officially launched, however... for that I actually am glad this is being launched on Steam. Even if it takes a week to download on a connection like mine, i'll be able to play it. But in the meantime, if downloading this torrent can save me the time so i can "drag and drop" them into the steam installation directory so i won't have to wait next week to download them officially, then why not?
Of course this isn't the case for everyone... it's just mine, and quite possibly the same for other people downloading the game (Basketball has a bigger international following than most of the sports considered 'popular' in the US to begin with).

1.DL nba2k9 torrent and game
2.DL pacsteam recent one
3.install pacsteam, make account, log in
4. if you are logged in then i clicked NBA 2k9 setup.exe in dvd and then appers new windows that you can add or something to pacsteam and then othing else after that he try to connect to server and said "server is busy or something"

i still don't understand how you got this to work with pacsteam. the steps i did was this:
-run pacsteam cracked version
-login on blank account
-run setup.exe in the nba2k9 folder
at this point it skips the activation key, but after the bar fills up an error pops up saying "You cannot download this game from pacsteam" etc etc.

As of now the highest download speed it has been is like 120 kB/s and the upload speed is around 39/40 kb/s. But the download speed doesnt maintain 120 all the time, many times it goes to 20-70. Its like this for most of my torrents. Goes up high then drops later.

You can't just use a program to open those .sid files. They are not images you can mount. Just wait for the crack or buy the game when it is released.

sorry guys, i still got off school and i have no clue of what has happened until now. There is currently no crack for this version, but it is being worked on. There is another torrent just released from 3Dm, and that is the full game + crack in a RIP format. No installation are required, u just have to unrar the file. They used the files from a person who actually bought the game and cracked it and packed the already intalled files into an rar and released it.
The reason they are having diffculties with this one is the bypassing of steam cd key activation at the beginning of installation.

there is no crack for this version at the moment, there is a NBA 2K9 released this afternoon by 3DM, full game with no installation required, since they didnt really crack the installation, they only cracked the activation needed to enter the game.

k there is no crack for this version.
the cracked version of the game was cracked after it was installed with a legit cd key and then the installation (already installed files) were cracked to bypass the activiation u need to enter the game and was compressed
this version is the orginial DVD of the game and ppl are looking into bypass the steam cd key thing right now.;
