Will never understand the motive behind FLAC. Can you HONESTLY notice a difference from 320 mp3???

hulkkar (2009-09-23)

a very big difference
mp3 320 is lossy
flac is lossless

@ mabobber:
Yes.

I'm not an audio aficionado and I used to think MP3 was good enough, but I have noticed over the past 3-4 years some differences. The most pronounced of those differences was a recording of a few Legend of Zelda games I made in Lossless and in MP3. Because I heard Link's "Hiyaa!" and other sounds over and over again, they got burned into my memory. On these sounds (and some others) you could say I AM an aficionado. They sounded EXACTLY the lame in Lossless sound, and they sounded good in MP3 320, but they had lost something in MP3. I hope that helps it some small way.
