The patch works on the Theta and SkidRow releases.
It removes the onscreen cursor when using the -str launch command.

Ok, I installed this update, but it made the whole game shaky/stutter, Uninstalled and re-installed L.A. Noire from scratch, works perfect again without this patch.

"Failed to create d3d resource" is a video card/driver error.
Either your drivers are out of date, or your video card/chip is not supported.
Probably the latter.

Can't install Rockstar's social club! Also tried running it as administrator but still won't work. The l.a. noire update does but it doesn't continue to Rockstar's social club update. it says: CreateProcess failed; code 740

This update fixed an issue I had where the game would stutter (lag) while turning the camera and running.
