You arent obligated to burn them.
I use Daemon Tools (http://disk-tools.com/download/daemon) for mounting the cd/dvd images. If some images won't load, when mounting an image, use all files instead of all images and select the other file (ex: if the .cue doesnt load, then load .bin). What else
1. Mount
2. use serial if needed
3. Install
4. let it update itself (usually would say its updated)
5. after install finished, update the latest installed version from the 13_updates folder
6. mount the required cd/dvd for the update
7. mount the next version and continue from 2.

It took several days for this to finish downloading, but I wasn't in a hurry. I'm also new to all this, go get the Daemon Tools and read, read, read - learn how to mount.
In any event, I am having two problems now. I cannot get Family Fun Stuff to mount/install. I've tried it in the correct order (used your text file) and then after each expansion or stuff after that. I can hear my DVD spin up, it's looking for the disk. Then it says to be sure the disk is in and click OK, then nothing happens.
Also I have no idea how to "move" the .exe into the Mansion Tsbin to make it work, getting errors trying to launch game.
Thanks for all your hard work on this, but if you or someone else could guide me here I'd appreciate it.

OK I got the game to launch (had dragged .exe into Tsbin instead of copying it).
But I still cannot get Family Fun Stuff to install. Have tried mounting the .mdf, the .cue and the one that already had the DT logo, the mdf. Just keeps accessing my DVD drive and saying be sure the disk is inserted. Even tried mounting the other 2 files while that was on the screen to trick it, didn't work.
I got every other expansion and stuff pack to work, what gives with this one?

When all is downloaded after two days, I find only 13 yellow folders. But folder nr 11, named "stuff" is as big as 3.23 GB. Here are "Mansion and Garden Stuff" and the others. In "Teen Style Stuff" e.g. there is a small cue- file and a big bin-file. No iso. I suppose I´ll mount the cue-file. I´ll exactly follow your Install Order in the txt-file. I´ll report!

i downloaded this on my main comp and was excited to play. I installed the game nearly flawlessly with daemon tools lite (i'm glad that advantage crap isn't in the new version). I had to manually run the glam pack or whatever. btw thx for the simslice extras ;) simslice rocks!
however, the crack file was a little buggy compared to the true file (which gets you to the title screen only...i tested both). I had to restart the game a few times before the title with the crack, but eventually it started. When you first start up the game, you have to "connect" the new zones to your neighborhood, and my comp froze trying to connect a college, beyond cntrl-alt-del so i manually restarted. Upon restart, chkdsk activated and it removed 3 files from the sims 2, one i remember was a neighborhood manager file. it said that it recovered that one and one of the others, though. But I will never know, because that is the last time my computer ever got past the windows start-up screen (xp pro).
I am pretty certain (as certain as a noob can be) that this is one of the cleanest games i've gotten from here (no keygen to even cause a trigger in the AV). But, once i reformat and dl this again, what can i do to keep this from happening? do i have to keep chkdsk from running when i manually restart? i checked around a little bit, but could find nothing tailored to my problem, so I thought i'd ask here.

It works wonderfullly (so far)! Only I couldn´t get Glamour Life to install. Nothing happened when I mounted the file, unlike for all the others. Never mind! I followed carefully (oc!) the order of installation - sometimes mounting .cue, sometimes .mds, sometimes .iso. Not to worry about as far as there is no other choice and it works. It is all not VERY easy for a noob - you don´t use Daemon Tools for the updates (.exe-file) for example. I had to really think and be very careful. The hard disk must be clean from old Sims versions. I even went into the registry and took away everything I could recognize as Sims before I started. - I use Daemon Tools lite 4.12.3 and avoid updates. At first, years ago, I had to fight against a terrible ad-program that came with, but succeded to uninstall it via Control Panel. Thanks EvoTech for this torrent!

rlyons521 - hope you have all in order. First: get Daemon Tools lite (google for it). (If there are ad-programs try to get rid of it. Simply uninstall via control panel). In the right corner of your desktop after install of Daemon Tools you see a little circle with a lightning. Right-click in the middle of that (not beside). Up comes a dialog. The upper row says: Virtual CD/DVD-rom. Put the pointer on that text. Another row comes up that says "E is empty". Move the pointer to that text. Now the former row changes text to: Mount image. You click on that text and up comes a dialog from your harddisk, C.drive.. You browse like you usually do when searching for a file, until you find The Sims 2 file, the yellow folder. Click on that and up comes 4 .iso-files. Click on the first one and the install begins. Then comes a dialog that asks for CD 2. You go to Daemon tools cicrcle down in the right corner, click "unmount" and start over again with CD 2. And so on. Please tell how u get on!

Placing the crack:
1. Go to the files you downloaded, to folder nr 13, named "Crack". Inside the folder TSBin is Sims2EP9.exe. Copy that. Now go to C:\Program Files, where you (by now) have EA GAMES. Click on that. Then on Mansion and Garden. You paste the copy of the crack on the folder TSBin. Up comes a question if you want that to replace the former. "Yes" is the answer. Ready to play. You always start playing with the Mansion Garden expansion.

i am so glad you are having better luck than me with this game. anyways, to get the glam pack to install, you must mount it in daemon tools. nothing will happen. now, go to "my computer". There should be a new virtual drive showing the mounted exp pack. right click the drive, select "open." this will open the iso or mds manually. now, there should be a file that says "ea autorun" or something. double click it and the pack should install.
So, i installed the game again, and it was running good and added all the new destinations, but it froze up again while i was trying to create a sim. i had to manual restart, but no chkdsk came up. however windows would not start, and when i tried to go in in safe mode, it told me that the file system32\DRIVERS\pci.sys was missing or corrupted, and thus it could not start.
i cannot recall all the comp's specs, as i cannot get it on, but it is running xp pro SP3, 2 GB RAM, GeForce n6100 video card, gigabyte s series mb...i can't remember anything else. I would appreciate any help. at least i don't have to re-dl the game this time...and the comp reformats xp in like 30 min so that is better than my old comps. heh.

i thought i was having the same problem at first, but it turns out that this game has huge loading times, esp upon first start up. make sure that you are starting the program from the crack file, otherwise, the game will just get to the loading screen and nothing more. But don't take much from me. This game has crased my comp twice (prolly my fault, somehow, tho)

I used Azureus, took two full days (not nights). BUT important: avoid that new Vuze version, and be sure you download an old verison, just google for it: "Azureus old version". It works with no problems at all (so far!). Totally wonderful. I move not TOO quickly, in a calm pace, giving the computor time to load. I made a new character and a pet. No problems. It just seems to freeze... I just do alt+ctrl+delete and it says the program isnt responding. I put the crack in Mansion and Garden stuff and it replaces it. I then go to play and when I click to skip the intro skit they have it just freezes there and if i let it play out it stops on the loading screen

Ok so i was finally able to get the game to load, but the graphics are all messed up. The grass in the neighborhood view flashes different shades of purple and the create a player room flashes different shades of red as wallpaper... i dont really know what else it has wrong, i havent gotten much further the that. Sebbes92, if you use a program like Daemon Tools to mount the images, you have the option of creating up to 4 virtual drives at once. That is what I use, then I mount all of the Sims2 CD images at one time, so I don't have to change out CD images.

And @ jolynn408 and anyone else trying to play with only a few EPs:
I think you need just install the last EP (Mansion & Garden Stuff), then replace the M&G game .exe with the cracked .exe and it will run. The cracked version requires no CD, so there's no need to mount it after you've finished placing the crack. Hope that helps

1)And the crack file is in the update folder name 13_Crack.
2) Replace the M&G .exe with the Crack one which means i have to copy the one in crack and put into program files c, EA games, M&G's TS Bin? Because in the crack file there is a Ts bin file . And (if what i did is correct) after i copy the crack file name Sims2EP9 , when i click it, it comes out a dialog says "The Sims2EP9 has uncounted a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." What does this means? And actually where should i put the crack? i just need to copy the whole folder or just the file inside? but copy to where?

There is a crack for each and every Sims 2 Exapansion. This is why it is said that once you have installed the last EP, you use that ones crack. So it is assumed you have installed them all, you would use that crack. Otherwise, whichever EP you last installed, you would have to go and download another crack for that EP.
Where to put it, would be in the TSBin folder of the relevant EP, if i remember correctly.

Firstly, ask yourself which was the last EP that you installed?
The answer to that question will determine which crack you need and in which folder to go into.
So d/l the crack for the EP in question, locate that EP's TSBin folder
i.e. ...\Program Files\EA Games\Sims 2 #EP_Name#\TSBin
You should see something along the lines of Sims2EP# (where # is the number of the EP) I think 9 is the last one. If you do see an .exe file in that format, then you are in the right place.
Copy and Paste the crack for the EP in question in that folder and overwrite the old one.
Then from there, run that .exe that you just pasted, otherwise copy a shortcut of it to wherever you like.
Please understand, that all the above mentioned is off the top of my head and from my memory only. So forgive me if i have left anything out or have got something wrong.
I hope this helps.

Hey there, was really hoping I'd be able to get some help from someone here. The download was very successful, thank you for that. However, it's the install that are giving me problem and I am at loss as how to make it all work after trying so many different things but ending up with the same result.
Here's my issue:
Try number 1:
Mount and install Sims 2 Original.
Copy Paste over the patch. (ignoring the crack since I am supposed to install all the other expansions later and use the M&G crack)
Start to install University but when being asked to verify my Sims 2 and put in disk 4 it tells me it failed and uninstalls.
Try number 2:
Install Sims 2 Original.
Crack from disk 4.
Copy Paste the patch.
Same thing again with University.
This is making me go berserk soon.. I've tried and tried and tried... trying to think of different things I am doing wrong/right.
I also tried to just run the game without installing University:
Install, crack and patch Sims 2 Original: Tells me to put in the right disk to play, but NONE of disk 1-4 will work.
Please help me.. I've tried downloading different Sims torrents for weeks now.. the last one wouldn't work at all and this one gives me these issues... I am about to give up again... please?

hi, fortunately i have finish downloading all the pack :)
but i am having problems intalling the expancions, i will be so extremely thankfull if some one could please explain me how to do it step by step. i have use Daemon to mount image of each one of the expantions when i was done with all of them i try to open the game but asked me for the disc 1 so i mount image of disc one of the sims2 and then told me the it was the wronge one and asked me to insert disc 1 from M&G so i mount that and still didnt work. what should i do? what do you mean with "Use exe crack from expansions - located in Crack directories on the images - to replace original exe files in install dir /TSBin." whare is this crack directory? how do i replace the original exe file? where do i find this original exe fild? please if some one could help me i will be so thankfull!!! is the first time i have try to do this on my own, and i will really like to learn to do it. please!!! :)

Mine works perfect. And you guys need to install the games according to the step given. 1st, install ori then nightlife. You should be able to play already. Then university. Also can play but need to mount Nightlife's mdf file. The Once you install the rest. you can't play anymore but to install the last game, (M&G). After you install go to where your file is located and replace the crack file in Tsbin with the one you download in this torrent named under 13_crack. after you replace, click and run it. If it appears with a message box says error something, try restart your comp. if the error message still appears, then you have to re-download that crack file. And so as other softwear, after you choose the file you want to mount, it didn't appear anything, you gotta open my comp and explore the file. (there will be sims 2 icon) if still dun hve, then gotta redownload it. (I'm sorry my english is not that good)

If you double click on the iso file of Apartment Life (or whatever the last expansion pack you installed), in Daemon Tools/PowerIso there should be a folder called Crack or something like that. Go into that folder, right-click the .exe file and copy it. Now open up the Installation directory (C:\Program Files\The Sims 2 Apartment Life or whatever) open the TSBin folder and paste the cracked .exe file, make sure it overwrites the old one. If this doesn't work then...good luck

Ok if anyone is having problems installing, just read the order he/she has put them in on txt file. Do it exactly in that order update when it says and so on. If you need anymore help leave comment. i installed sucessfuly 1st time, Vista Ultimate 32Bit. It does take a long time to startup but if you like sims2 its worth it. Enjoy ! well... did you read the read me file? just do what it says... start installing using deamon tools, follow all the steps and the order described in the serials and install order file, when you installed them all, go to the crack folder and copy the crack file, paste it on the directory where mansion and garden stuff is installed, it should be something like: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Os Sims 2 mansion and garden stuff\TSBin" and start the game from there.

Once you have downloaded all files mount by what ever program you prefer I used clone drive. Follow the instructions given ,and at the end copy the mansion fix to the file it will copy and replace that file.
When you click on that file you will see a sims 2 launcher that show all the sims that you installed at the top of it.
Click launch
Here is the part you will hate every game you downloaded will load at that time that will take awhile. I have only played the game a day if I have any problems i will write back. Good luck I hope this helps

I mounted Glamour Life in Daemon Tools fine, but when I double-clicked the virtual drive under "My Computer," I received the same error message that you did.
I then RIGHT-clicked the virtual drive, chose "explore," then double-clicked "autorun." I was then able to install the program. Hope this helps!

Hi again. I have been playing sims and untill today this has worked. When I run it it loads a little bit then crashes saying: the application has crashed. the application will now terminate. It has worked very good until today so idk what happened. It runs untill it says Ceiling Fan Rotation and something else on the loading page, then crashes. So far I'm still downloading. But I managed to get the Original installed and been able to play. Though It took sometime and some playing with the files to get it to work. So when I get all the expansions done I'll see how that goes. One thing I noticed is I extracted the files on cd4 to check the crack folder I copied the censorship file patch and moved it to where the sims2.exe is located in my program files. I ran into a small problem with needing the correct cd-rom to run the game. So I figured to move the Rungame.exe to the TSBIN folder and got the game up and running with no problems yet.
Thank goodness I got an extra test PC to run stuff on. And I mounted the CD1-CD4 using PowerIso when I installed it. I'll post more info as I go. Thanks EvoTech for the Upload of everything!

The first disk file ran just by clicking on it (autorun) without having to be mounted and I started the instillation, then at 23% it asked for the second disk. That disk file wouldn't run on it's own so I mounted it using Magicdisk. But after I mounted the second disk nothing happened.. it won't run. I canceled it and did the whole thing over but this time mounting the first disk too.. but once again when I mounted the second disk nothing happens. I tried clicking on the second disk autorun, I tried just clicking "ok" on the insert 2nd disk prompt, but I got nothing.
Any help would be nice.. I'm getting REALLY frustrated.

Alright guys, I downloaded the game and now seeding. But I am having problems. I only installed the orginal and it mounted perfectly and installed. But the crack will not work for me. So what I found out is dont do crack's just mount an miny image and it acts like the cd is in the drive. And you play the actuall non cracked game. Make sure in your tsbin folder has the original ex file though.

But to fix this I went to gamesburnworld and downloaded a mini image you mount with daemon. The good thing is you dont even need a crack. It just acts like the first cd so you play the original actuall games with no bugs of any sort.

Really they do not HAVE to seed at all, yes torrents go slow at times but they WILL speed up...Trust and believe they WILL speed up!!! If you don't want to wait then here is an alternate solution, GOES OUT AND BUY THE GAME!!! What do you people want for free! My gosh!! snoweyrie the issue sounds like one of two problems:
1. you do not have the University image mounted before you attempted to update or
2. you are attempting to update your university with a more current expansion pack installed...
If you do have a more current expansion installed you only have to update THAT one. Because it will become dominate over the later packs/expansions...If you do want to update university in that case you would have to uninstall all the sims versions and reinstall and update each pack as you go in the order you of there releases..Hope this helps if you already didnt get it to work.

after installing he original you will have to install the expansions - HOWEVER when you try to do that it will not install because it says that the update necessary for the expansions arent there so the installation terminates!

After installing everything in this order (the patches i do not know what versions i acquired, i just dl'd the available ones from ea), your left with a clean install. Now there is two ways for making this game work without a disc. First option, a crack. this is whats most common here on tpb. second, and in my opinion the better, is a mini disc image. you can get it from game copy world. the mansion and garden stuff version. I use daemon tools to mount it as it is a .mdf/mds tool, and then i delete daemon tools shortcuts so i never accidentally unmount it. if you do use the crack, make sure no sims disc is mounted, or physically in any drive. If you launch the game, and it gets stuck at the first sims screen, after the intro movie before the load, ctrl+alt+delete, see if the programs "not responding." For me it was, i had to go into the registry, and change the drive for mansion and garden shit. i changed it to the daemon tools drive, and it worked. i had to do this for both the crack, AND the mini image.

ps, i did this while offline, i disabled my network adapters. One of the discs, i forget which, its near the middle, requires you to update, forces you even. if it cannot, it uninstalls. i installed it, it told me it had to update, i hit ok, then it said it cannot therefore it will now uninstall. i killed the task in taskmanager. then the sims popped up saying the install was secessful. and now all is well and works great. to all you dumbasses whom say this doesnt work, it just takes a little coaxing, just go out and buy the games. i did.

As you can see the list is a little daunting, and large, but its worth it.
After installing everything in this order (the patches i do not know what versions i acquired, i just dl'd the available ones from ea), your left with a clean install. Now there is two ways for making this game work without a disc. First option, a crack. this is whats most common here on tpb. second, and in my opinion the better, is a mini disc image. you can get it from game copy world. the mansion and garden stuff version. I use daemon tools to mount it as it is a .mdf/mds tool, and then i delete daemon tools shortcuts so i never accidentally unmount it. if you do use the crack, make sure no sims disc is mounted, or physically in any drive. If you launch the game, and it gets stuck at the first sims screen, after the intro movie before the load, ctrl+alt+delete, see if the programs "not responding." For me it was, i had to go into the registry, and change the drive for mansion and garden shit. i changed it to the daemon tools drive, and it worked. i had to do this for both the crack, AND the mini image.

ps, i did this while offline, i disabled my network adapters. One of the discs, i forget which, its near the middle, requires you to update, forces you even. if it cannot, it uninstalls. i installed it, it told me it had to update, i hit ok, then it said it cannot therefore it will now uninstall. i killed the task in taskmanager. then the sims popped up saying the install was secessful. and now all i

So after so many responses from people who apparently couldn't get this to work...
Here's what happened for me (this description may seem trivial for all you computer whiz guys but maybe there are some who will need this)
I installed sims 2 + university + nightlife + open for business (didn't want to install the other packs). Opened each folder -> Mounted first file in that folder using daemon tools -> Opened file and just followed instructions (mounting the next file when I was prompted to insert the next cd). After every expansion pack installation the program said it'll check for updates. Some updates were installed (automatically) after I installed university pack only, after I installed the other packs it said everything is updated and I could move on to install the next pack. The only problem I had was with the second file in the open for business" folder - it was a .bin file and I" could not open it with daemon tools for some reason. What I did to solve this was copy the file and change the copy's file type to .mdf. (I did this because I didn't want to damage the original file by changing it). Mounted this new .mdf file in daemon tools and installation continued smoothly.
After installing these 3 packs I ran the game by mounting "open for business" first file in daemon tools (meaning I did not use the crack). Up til now the game seems to work perfectly.
