don´t patch the game before you have entered the serial. I had problem with this. But if I had read the instructions it wouldnt been any problem. thx again Nahlebnik for this relase. Loking forward to expack 5.

I´m having a problem while installing the software. When I try to install the game it tells me that there is not enough space in the drive for extracting the files (i have 30GB available!). Any help will be appreciated.

I used to have an old verson of Realflight G3 before I uninstalled it. When installing this torrent, I get an message telling me I have the wrong license key. The licence key from my previous Realflight must be stored in my computer. Can anyone please tell me how to lockate this and delete it?

Here's another tip I found:
RealFlight with Esky 0905A controller:
Set it up like this and it will work with helicopter (tested!):
x1=0
y1-4
x2=16
y2=8
flaps=12
b1=48
b2=49
b3=50
b4=51
b5=52
check the override joystick control
check the enable hotkey->joystick emu
flaps=f1
gear=f2 (throttlehold)
The f-keys gives you the engine options for the lacking switch on the esky 0905A controller.

I had the same prob. It's an easy fix though; and quite a ridiculos one too. You can't use the launcher from the explorer; instead use the shortcut of the launcher that has by deafult been placed on your desktop. That should do it.

I'm using a spectrum dx6i. I cannot get 4 channels. I have throttle, ailerons and rudder but no elevator. With ClearView simulator all 4 work so it's not the dx6i. any help or ideas? thanks

First load Deamon tools
Then mount the .mdf files and install from 1-4
enter serials for G4 which is in s/n.txt
then upgrade with RealFlight4_00_051.exe (if not done will get error unknown real flight version or error creating effect shadow)
copy the emulator emu.exe to C:programs/real flight
right click emu.exe and send shortcut to desktop
the program can be run now by clicking on emu.exe and clicking launch game
addons and expansion packs can be installed

For those who had no idea like me - dondagun's post saved my frustration. But I did not know how to navigate the DAEMON TOOLS (Nub)
1.) Install DAEMON TOOLS
2.) MOUNT (thru DAEMON TOOLS)
2a.) MOUNT RFV4_1.mdf
2b.) MOUNT RFV4_2.mdf
2c.) MOUNT RFV4_3.mdf
2d.) MOUNT RFV4_4.mdf
3.) Enter the Serial Numbers - A G4 Interface with a picture of the box and the controller is what you should see.
(I cannot remember if I clicked on an icon on the desktop or it auto popped. Just look out for this)
4.) Upgrade to (RealFlight4_00_051.exe)
5.) Copy emulator into C:\Program
Files\RealFlightG4
6.) Right click on (emu.exe) and create a shortcut on your desktop
7.) Launch by using the shortcut
8.) For your radio, just click on controller and all the options are there. Sometimes our Axis is off, you either need to reverse it or remap.

Install was fine....but when I click on the emu.exe (which I copied to the Realflight directory), I get a message about Windows not being able to access path, object, or file.
I'm also getting constant alerts from AVG that the emu.exe is infected with a trojan......

antivirus progs seem to have a problem with the emulator, but there's no virus in it...
i have a previous version of the emu.exe and had 2 shut the av prog off to install it, if possible make an exception so that the emulator is excluded from scanning by av progs...especiallmy avast seems to make a problem of the emulator...

Recommend starting from scratch with your installs and go step by step.
I just installed as the instructions read, no errors works great on vista. But I am a little concerned about the trojan in the emu.exe. Any thoughts?

For those of you who are getting an error when copying the EMU.EXE to the program folder.
1. Google Realflight G4 Dongle Emulator V3.2
2. Then Extract the file into the C:/program files/real flight.
That Worked for me with No Errors

Maybe i'm being a bit hasty me IT friend says that all the Virus software is going to show the emu file as a virus since it is a hack to get the game to function so the virus scanning software must be turned off to make it work. Whitch i guess makes since.

Installed fine.
Mount mds files and install. Install expansions and/or addons.
I had problem starting the emulator, but once i uninstalled AVG free (antivirus) it worked.
I had some problems setting a correct configuration for my transmitter, but these settings worked for rc tech 6ch controller:
x1: 0
y1: 4
x2: 20
y2: 8
Had to check "enable hotkey -> joystick emulation" also...
