Unfortunatelly, this torrent is the reason why the printed version will not eventually come out. I was really looking forward to it.
"It is already known that we try to reprint the English Amiga Guru Book by Ralph Babel.
Some additions were also planned to the original book.
The German Amiga Guru Book is available for some time now.
Nevertheless some Amiga users needed to put some pirated copies of the book online.
The print material is ready and actually we wanted to give it to the printing press.
But since several weeks there is a torrent with a pirated copy of the English Amiga Guru Book online.
Due to the fact that some Amiga users don't show up any support towards those who keep their platform up and try to supply them with information this project is hereby discontinued."

The author of the book makes an asshat out of himself if he thinks that the book will not reach the net.
Doesn't sound like much of a guru to me.

Even more stupid is to think that a person who'd buy the book wouldn't buy the book just because there's a pdf file on TPB.

MrZ is just another full of himself drama queen who is upset that his unreasonable project was unreasonable.
He wanted to reprint and sell copies of the book, with profits going towards paying for the reprinting. I wonder if he was going to share royalties with the original author and publisher? If not, he has no f'ing business complaining about pirates.
Why the hell do I need a printed copy anyways. PDF's are quite acceptable, despite his own arrogant attitude regarding them. His opinion is that it should be in printed form only.
He wants to play the victim here, but he's just another arrogant elitest ass who isn't truely interested in helping the scene as much as he is doing things 'his way or no way' and expecting undeserved credit for it.
So good riddance as far as I'm concerned, and he can take unwanted reprints, and shove them up his ass sideways. When he decides to get over himself, he can make a PDF out of it and can contribute it to the scene at no cost to himself.

Well, if he really wants to help the amiga scene, he should give his work for free, you're not expecting that the Amiga will get back to his 80's and early 90's glory again ?
As much as i would like to see it on top again he's surviving because of the good will of people that shares all the amiga things they have, like i do.
Back in the days i could think on making a profit out of it, but not now.
Long live Amiga and long live all the guys who share this things with all of us.
Mr Z, you're nothing but an oportunist, shame on you and you're not welcome with those comments.
