His request is clear; he's stating he doesn't have the serial for Stata on the OSX platform. If you're familiar with the software, it's clear. I think I was once able to use a generator for XP and the serial worked on OSX, but they might have changed their framework. Thanks for the drop.

I already tried using the Windows and Unix serial generators (Small, IC, SE, MP) but nothing worked :( Good though though.

I finally found the Stata 10 License for Mac OSX!
After searching through Baidu results..ugh..I finally found it (figured the Chinese would have a serial). Don't worry though, everything's in English.
I tried to upload it but I can't figure out how, so I'll leave the torrenting to you guys.
Just put the file in Applications>Stata, and open the program. It seems to work fine, and it gets you past the registration screen.

Hmm, well the IC license works on both of my computers. Are you using this download of Stata, or a different one? You didn't update or register it, did you?

For those who are having problems with the stata.lic file: 1) Open it in a text editor (plain text such as Text Wrangler) and delete anything below the first line (after downloading, Apple adds some WebKit meta data to it); 2) Change the line feeds to Unix (LF) type; 3) Save. This should solve the problem with Stata not reading the file correctly.

Converting to img using dmg2img (http://vu1tur.eu.org/tools/) works, kind of, but produces something that only would make sense on a Mac (I'd guess). Anyway, where's the "Unix flavour" promised? Maybe rather rip using standard formats >:3

Never managed to make it work with ubuntu. it should work with the windows lic using wine, but it's very slow.

Can someone please tell what to do exactly while opening Stata. If I open Stata I get a little box in which I sould fill in : Name - Organization - Serial number - Code - key.
What do I have to fill in there?? Not too sure what lic.file is or how to get it...

I had trouble installing 64-bit mp (windows) at first, others may have had the same prob. so i am posting what i had to do.
Install as normal then use the serial, code and auth provided by delaman (or get the keygen from CYGiso torrent: search Stata_v10.0-CYGiSO, torrent). You will receive an error stating that you are trying to install 32-bit stata with a 64-bit serial (to that effect). Ignore this because the license file has been written. Then (should prob download first) download and install the MP bin file frome stata's website and follow the direction on that site. Run the new executable as admin and that is it.
Note: you should prob. set the install dir to c:\stata10 (somewhere out of the default in the x86 program files) and you should run an update immediately (update all).

How can I install this on Linux (Ubuntu)? I have converted .dmg file to .img via dmg2img utility, but the process kinda stops there, I cannot mount the resulting image. Anyone?

I figured the answer out, will share for those who might needed.
1) Download torrent, will have file stata.dmg. Run dmg2img utility (available in Ubuntu, might have to install, use Synaptic or whatever).
2) After running dmg2img, you will have a stata.img file. You must now mount it as follows:
sudo mount -t iso9660 -o loop /LOCATION_OF_stata.img /mnt/FOLDER_TO_MOUNT_TO
3) If step 2 worked for you, you're almost done. Now do: sudo mkdir /usr/local/stata10
and cd /usr/local/stata10
4) Finally, run: sudo
The keygens are available all over, or you can use the code from other comments in this thread.
