A few notes about this torrent and the other torrents in this series that are to follow.
Firstly, I have limited seeding capability. Bandwidth for uploading is severely restricted, as is disk space. Therefore, expect the initial seeding of these torrents to take a very long time. Don't despair, I will get them fully seeded. However, I won't be able to seed them indefinitely. I'm hoping that they'll be picked up by a few devoted Heart fans and kept alive. If they do die, continue to leech. If I see the number of leechers growing with no seeding, I'll re-seed if I can. You'll need to be patient though.
Now, about the material...
Nearly all of this material is from a private collection that was acquired over many years. Most of it is no longer in my possession. All that remains are these files. This means that lossless files are no longer available. So, no need to ask, I simply can't provide them.
Most of this material is from vinyl with some tape (cassette and RR) along with a few CDs. The source media of each mp3 is noted in the comment tags.
All digitizing was done at 44.1khz 16bit. The wave files were post processed using the then current versions of Diamond Cut with a bias toward preserving the original sound rather than total noise elimination. Encoding to mp3 was done using either blade or lame. CD sourced material was encoded asis. In almost all cases encoding was done at 192kbps cbr. Tags were added more recently.
In line with the goal of preserving the original sound, the imbedded commercials were also preserved. The intent of this being to maintain the original broadcast experience as much as possible.
Where available documentation is provided in the form of cue sheet, program listing, and cover scans.
One or two of the programs that came from traded cassettes are incomplete or low quality. Such is life.
I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I have.

Just a little advice to anyone attempting to download these torrents. SHARE
When these torrents first finished seeding there were 5+ seeds for a couple days, now it's just me again. I've seen only one other for several days now. So, since I still appear to be the primary seed I'm continuing to run these torrents in Initial-Seeding mode. What this means is that peers that share what they download will be preferred for upload on my end. Or, putting it another way - If you don't share, you get it last.
I'm doing this primarily to save bandwidth on my end by not uploading the same pieces over and over. It has the side effect of rewarding those that share. I've seen several Azureus peers (particularly 3.0.5.2) that don't seem to want to share. Come on guys, loosen up.
