That's because you are not supposed to unpack the .iso file. You need to mount it with Daemon Tools or some similar program or burn it as a dvd. Read more about it here:

Scanned extracted installation files from iso and files after installation with Antivir (high heuristic), Kaspersky Online and Spybot. No Viruses or Spyware found.
BTW, Winrar can extract .iso files just fine but it is a bit hard to do. First you right-click on the .iso file then select "Extract to FOLDERNAME" ...... Took me a few weeks to figure out but it works :)

I've got it chap.
The Cracks and Patches are on the individual ISOs.
Open the ISO rar files with winrar and you'll see two folders Crack and Patch.
Extract these and then you're away.
The Patch is just an exe to run, and the Cracked exe just needs to be copied to the game directory.

generally cracks are on the iso...so you would find it by going to My Computer->right click->explore.. and then there will be a Crack folder or perhaps a BONE folder etc. depending on who the uploader is etc. then just copy paste.
and screw AVG, it's a pos in my opinion. plus trusted uploaders don't become trusted by putting trojans in their uploads....yes? anyway looks good, good speed so far, thanks very much BONE.

windows 32-bit, used virtual clonedrive to mount civ4 and when i double click or "explore" the dvd- rom drive to install it says "windows cannot access this disc the disc might be corrupt. Make sure that the disc uses a format that windows recognizes. If the disc is unformatted, you need to format before using"

I figured out where the game directory is and i pasted the civ 4 crack into it, now it says '' The prodedure entry point_BinkShouldSkip@4 could not be located in the dynamic link library binkw32.dlll.'' Any idea how to fix this?

It seems like alot of people are having trouble getting the game setup. Here are some noob tricks to get you started.
Get Daemon Tools lite. It allows you to open a file as if it was a cd in a cd drive. You can do everything that you need from this.
Once you have Daemon Tools lite you should see a gray circle with a lightning bolt on the bottom right of your screen, near the time. Right click this icon and select "Virtual CD/DVD rom", then select "Set Number of Devices". Set that to 2.
Now left click the icon and select "Device 0:". Select the .iso file you downloaded. This mounts the file as a CD/DVD.
Do the above again for "Device 1:" but this time look within the new CD drive within My Computer, the one with the CIV 4 file within it. For me its drive F. In their you should see 3 other iso files. These are the images of the disks you need to install.
IMPORTANT!!!! = make sure that you follow the direction that are in the CIV 4 file. Theres a text file labeled "I N F O". That file explains exactly how you have to install everything.
One other thing you should note. The Crack files need to go within the correct directory. The first on is easy, you just put it within "Sid Meier's Civilization 4" root directory. The next have to be put within their respective folders inside that directory. ie: the second crack is for Warlords and needs to go into "Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Warlords". The third in its respective directory.

I installed everything, put the cracks where they belong and to play i know that you have to mount the CDs to play.
So, when i go and double click on the cracked Civ4.exe shortcut, it opens and tell me to put the correct CDs...now i've tried everything and i can't seem to play.

Can confirm what another individual said earlier - this file contains a keylogger. Bone clearly has a good reputation, but after downloading this software, my WOW account was hacked the very next day (have never been hacked before - nearly 3 years and running).
I am also having problems getting BTS to work. Followed the instructions outlined, but still only able to play vanila Civ4 and Warlords. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

also, if during the beyond the sword install, the game automatically patches itself like mine did, you will need to go back and mount the original civ4 CD and re-copy the crack over... so it overwrites the patch that was automatically installed.

I have not downloaded this program, so I can't claim to know whether or not it contains any keylogging programs... However hackers have recently developed and exploited a weakness in Firefox and EI to steal 1000+ WoW accounts a day, it got embedded in Java and Flash scripting and would be picked up on a website without any knowledge and no software protection would help you sans running no-script on Firefox. EI has patched this, and I am not sure about Firefox yet, however blizzard entertainment has had far more hacked accounts than normal in the past month so don't assume it is this torrent without an actual file located.

Regardless ther could be a keylogger or not (my antiviurs doesn't complain), what you guys should do to be safe is this:
1- install the 3 games in a row (no patches or anything).
2- Install official patch to beyond the sword 3.19.
And... play! That patch removes the protection for that expansion, which anyway, includes the whole game.
If you wanna play the others alone, go to www.gamecopyworld.com and get a safe crack.

While not being a noob at using torrents or installing cracked games, this one doesn't seem to want to work with me. Obviously it's on my end with so many not having problems though.
Once I've mounted the first game, CIV.iso, (I use Alcohol 120 and have for years) the install screen loads, I click install and english setup, then I immediately receive an error message:
" An error (-5003 : 0x5) has occurred while running the setup.
Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: Firaxis Games

This is my first time running this game and have no previous setup or apps running. Tried several times, restarting my pc, with same result. I even burned the image to DVD to install directly from it but I get the same error.

Ok, I don't know if this file has keyloggers but this is how I installed -
First; Make sure you have PowerISO or one of the other image mounting programmes.
Right click your CIV4 file and mount with PowerISO, go to My Computer and double click the disc drive and it should act as if a game were in there.
Install.
In the part of your computer where the CIV4 file was downloaded to there should now be a folder called CRACK and one called PATCH. Go into them and press copy. Go to C: Drive, Programme files, Fireaxis and paste into Civilization file.
This is repeatable for the expansions, do them exactly the same. When you are copying cracks and patches remember to go into programme files etc and into the game directory and then into the expansion folder CIV/Warlords etc...
By the way, I have installed this first time on Windows 7 and I am playing it now, however, I did not install the sword expansion as this is where all the uncertainty seems to be coming from in relation to virusses. I deleted it as I can't be bothered to take the risk. A worrying thing was when it asked me for my name because it already knew the name I use for bios on the internet and in games. Don't know if this is suspicious.

The reason Virus's aren't being detected by virus scanners is because the infected files are packed within a compressed archive within an ISO that is nested within another ISO. Virus scanners CANNOT scan places like this. Ask yourself why this torrent is packed in this nature. It seems counter productive, or does it?
I'll make it clear for you. I download this torrent into a sandbox, scanned, the scans came up clean. I then, still within the sandbox. Opened the top level ISO and unpacked the contents into a folder. I then did the same to the second ISOs. After scanning, multiple instances of Trojans were detected, they had placed themselves in various places on the computer, some in my system drive partition, some in very random places, my PC Tools Firewall plus system monitor told me an unknown application was attempting to record keystrokes and was also attempting to act as a server and receive and send information over the internet.
As i had investigated this within a sanbox the virus had actually only infected an instanced 'image' of my OS architecture and all i had to do was delete the sandbox to remove everything within the sandbox thus removing the infection.
This is what sandboxes are designed for. People arguing that this is infected or not is ludicrous. Believe me or not, the problem is people spread the concept people come on here saying 'its infected' to try harm the piracy underworld. Some people may do, i am not one of them i asure you, if the police ever got their hands on my hardrive i'de be fucked as even this OS is torrented and not legit, not to mention the shit load of pirated films, music. applications, games e.t.c.
I'm not someone trying to fuck up piracy, i'm someone telling you all that this torrent is actually infected. I know because i've looked into it, i've actually seen the virus actively try and do what it tries to. If there wasnt a virus there non of that would have happened, obviously.
Take a bit of advice people. The reason so many people 'confuse' the clarity about torrents being infected and 'false possitives' is EXACTLY for the reason people wanting to infect you 'want' you to be confused and not be able to spot a genuine threat when its there. allot of people are quite nieve and 'listen to the crowd' without looking into things deeper or on their own terms. There is still obviously some confusion about where the crack/patch folders are. 1) You MUST extract the .iso file that is initally downloaded using WinRAR. After extracting, there should be 3 .iso files (CIV.iso, CIV Warlords.iso, and CIV Beyond the sword.iso) in whatever folder you extracted to. 2) Mount the CIV.iso file in DaemonTools or whatever DVD-ROM emulator you prefer. 3)

@mordeth86 tunngle is a much niver GUI, much of a muchness when it comes to VPN over LAN. HOWEVER... The network drivers that it uses halves the speed of your real network drivers. I didn't actually have a look as to WHAT it was changing, but if you had a 20 mbps connection, you would only be able to utilize 10 mbps of that.

found out how to play online for free. install the game update patches then plat the game go to multiplayer it well update you to 1.74. then when you plaace the crack in the installation folder keep both of the files (the crack well be rename to something(2).exe) make a shortcut of the crack on your deaktop and run it from there. you well be able to play online without worry

1) I've downloaded the torrent. tried mounting Civ.Iso (the file itself) is that the right one?
2) Installed each of the three CIV.
3) installed three patches for each one.
4) moved all the crack filed into my folder.
5)when I click to play I get the BOOTH_PYTHON error and BLINK.32 error.
6)Tried downloading new booth. and blink32 file. got nothing. Same error. I have read the info file and tried installing it 3 other ways. ive reset the computer and tried sacrificing a chicken.

but when i try to mount the iso with daemon tools lite, it goes to the folder with "civ" "warlords" and "beyond the sword" and when i click the iso it just opens it with winrar, if i drag it into daemon tools it says cannot mount image

Just finished downloading, took a few days cause this internet is slow, but on my old computer this took a day n' half to download. Good number of seeders, I'm going to help seed as of now for a few weeks. And for you newbs that need help, here's the way I did it:
1. Download
2. Once download is finished, mount the Civ 4 CD with Magic Iso (if you don't have it, download it by googling it)
3. Wait for the installation to finish.
4. Install the patches, which can be found exploring the CD. If you don't find any, just google "Civ 4 Patches)
5. Once the patch is finished, move the crack to the installation folder.
6. Repeat above steps for the other CD's.
7. Play the game. :)
Hope that works for you guys, did for me.

I just successfully installed the game & it works great. The guide written above works but here are some additional tips in case you aren't so computer savvy:
You need to download Magic ISO from here:

You also need the MagicISO Virtual CD Drive:

Once all that's done, you need to extract your civ4 image. It's zipped so use WinRar or 7zip or whatever you have.
After that, go into the directory and read the "I N F O" document, which pretty much outlines what you need to do.
Some points which confused me at first:
1. "Mount/Burn the image" - Simply right click the file and magic iso - mount. Then autoplay should pop up and you install.
2. "Install the patch" - You need to right click the little cd icon on your toolbar and hold your mouse over the virtual cdrom -> the file location -> and choose browse cd. Then just go to the patch folder and install it.
You repeat those steps every time you need to mount and patch etc for each of the expansions.

... lol looks like I need to assure you all first off that I am not a retard. That said I am having an issue. I am using daemon tools to mount the ISO's and have been installing each one in order just like the instructions told me to. Everything works fine until the beyond the sword set up. I go through the instalshield just fine until the actual install then it says it is searching for directX and then it stops. When I try to update it says it is not installed and when I try to install it it just happens again. I can't play the games that I have for some reason and I can't do anything els. Any ideas? Any one encounter anything like this before?

Hey i cant get this to install (im no n00b either) I've extracted it, and mounted the Civ iv disk and ran the setup.exe. However once it gets to the "intallsheild is guiding you" part it just quits out.
Ive tried mounting it in both Deamon tools and power iso.
I have ran in as admin and in compatibility mode
the weird thing is that i have the the original civ iv disk and it starts fine. ( i lost the other disks though, so i cant finish it)

And i am no noob either. I mount it, install it, and try to play. After this is when i get the error that it cant find disk. If I then move the crack over to the original exe file, and copy over it, then i get an error saying blah blah cannot find .dll. So whats the deal? its mounted, it appears to be cracked, so what am I doing wrong? I dont get it and am getting rather frustrated. I look for the text file or NFO file and cannot find one. I am using daemon lite, and this isnt my first rodeo, which is why it irritates me so much. ATTENTION; EVERYONE WITH "NO CD ISSUE":
If you follow the instructions exactly as specified, your "Warlords" patch will overwrite your "Civ4" patch with an uncracked update.
upon completion of the steps followed exactly as in the "I N F O" text file,
1. Uninstall Civilization 4
2. Restart your computer
3. Reinstall Civilization 4
4. Run Civilization 4 Patch (again)
5. Drag and Drop "Civilization4.exe" from Crack folder and overwrite (again)
Magically it will work again.

Running Windows 7 x64, followed the instructions with one exception: I didn't crack the original Civ4 game until I had installed the expansions and their patches. No idea if that made a difference, it's just been my experience that sometimes patching a cracked game can cause issues. Great torrent, worked perfectly, no complaints whatsoever.

If you are getting the error to insert the proper DVD:
The instructions fail to include the final necessary step. You must open the first ISO, from the /crack directory, copy the cracked Civilization.exe to the install directory.

Quite frankly this torrent sucks.
No crack was included, I had to find one myself to get civ 4 running, I couldn't get the expansions to work, plus after a certain number of turns in any game mode the game closes for no reason, loading the game at that point also closes it out for some reason.
