Anyone who has read the book or seen the movie "Memoirs of a Geisha" should find the BBC documentary especially interesting - it shows how a modern geisha in the 21st century trains and lives. There is much that has changed since Sayuri's WWII era time and yet much which has remained the same. Thanks so much for putting this up.

you can find this docu on youtube under "beoming a geisha 1." i knew i'd already seen it. the movies can be found as separate torrents, too.
