Please, though, could we have a bit more information, such as the source (CD or vinyl), what was used to rip them (ideally EAC-secure), and maybe even whether these are the british or american editions of the cds or records?

djdeez, eac rips from the original european first editions except for Hounds.. It's some EMI100 aniversary edition with needles bonustracks and remixes.
