Why make things complicated?
Just use vlc for matroska. Vlc can be used for almost everything, I've never had a file I couldn't play.

Protip: Download Internet Download Manager off of TPB, and look up ElfenLiedAnimeHD on YouTube. Then set the video quality of each to the max, and download the MP4 file.
