swanman1 (2008-12-12)
are the subs hardcoded or in an srt folder?hatethefake (2008-12-12)
yeah wat swanman said????chaostear (2008-12-14)
after you unzip the sub file, how do you get it to show? I tried VLC and media player classic but nothing shows up. Or does it need to be renamed?thebash (2009-01-13)
The filenames for the subs must match.I use FFDSHOW and when you play the file you can see the ffdshow icon in the systray (next to the clock) right click and select sub, otherwise you can get VOBSUB and do the same.
VOBSUB comes with a utility to semi-automaticalli render the images .sub to text .srt that most standalone player understand.
I don't know if VLC plays .sub files but you do have to tick it on anyway in VLC for it to work, i think it is under video>subtitles>"select which file"
thebash (2009-01-13)
It would be nice if the subtitle came pre-rendered in the release to .srtthebash (2009-01-15)
