Ten years ago this June, an international army of scientists announced that they had succeeded in completing their first draft of the genetic book of human life. They had read most of the three billion genetic letters of the DNA instruction manual which resides in our chromosomes. It was an achievement worthy of an international press conference with President Bill Clinton in the White House. The Human Genome Project involved thousands of scientists in many different countries, cost hundreds of millions of pounds and took more than ten years. It was the first big science project for biology. But what have been the benefits and advances a decade on?

Mr. Duh-kins is perhaps the most incapable "Biologist" there is. I can't believe this bloke has a PhD. When you listen to him, all he spews is his religious beliefs and no science at all. He uses philosophical arguments to explain every bit of his science, which is so dumb.

I agree, the way he uses his philosophy just ruins it - especially with his bizzar theories... for example he says that electrons travel all around the universe (in a circle) to be able to react with the OTHER side of the electron it was bonded to in the first place. I understand if you find this confusing... I do as well.
