Hey, on next launch of this beta, just a heads up that it will say that your serial number is invalid. You then have ONE more launch to either correct the problem or start the trial. Entering the same serial WON'T work if you try again.

theres a loophole with the serial.
on the 3rd try it will say it's invalid. BUT, if you quit, and delete the Cache.db file again, the same serial works over and over.
it's just a tedious process, but works perfectly with me. :) good luck!

If you want to run DW CS4 without having to wipe the cache every other time do the following.
1) After installing the Beta, run the DW and when prompted use the following serial. 1192-1413-8739-4724-4366-4303
2) It will open up. Wait about a minute and go into your cache folder located : C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache
3) Right click on the "cache.db" file, select 'properties' and change the file to "read only".
What this does is allows DW to recognize the file is there but can't write to it to bugger up the info that would otherwise cause DW to expire. I have been using it for 2 days after this fix and not once been prompted.
P.s. If you use your fire wall to block DW, it will just freeze up which I assume is an intentional side effect from not being able to validate against Adobe online. with this fix, you can open your fire wall back up so that you can use the software.

I switched back to CS3, I'll wait for the next beta, this one really has too many bugs when I'm coding.

I downloaded the trial version from adobe.com and used MARTIJNVANDIJK's serial code and it worked fine
