Guys, rishieerishh is correct. xvid is a 10 year old codec, h264 (mkv) is far far more efficient. It packs identical quality in a much smaller file size... very important for HD material.
I realize that you want to burn movies to a dvd and watch on your tv, but honestly at this point, that is the equivalent to figuring out how to bring HD onto VHS tapes. Here is why:
for $130 you can get devices that play all video files, (avi, mkv, xvid, h264, etc), these devices hook directly into your Tv. google search popcorn hour, popbox, boxee
not to mention, you can easily hook a laptop or shitty desktop that you have into your tv via hdma, vga or dvi and play all downloaded material on your hdtv.
All of these solutions work brilliantly from the couch using a remote.
Stop wasting dvd-r discs and get with the times guys, its never been easier to bring computer content to your hdtv!
and to the person who said "u keep downloading RAW BluRay's." - that is just utterly incorrect. search for "brrip" or "secretmyth" and then try to say that those are raw blu rays. they are in fact 720p material with h264 compression (mkv) clocking in at 1.4 - 2.4gb in size. and with MUCH higher quality than xvid.

rishieerishh - shut the fuck up. Releases like this are utterly PERFECT for those of us without newer computers or graphics cards that can decode x264 full 720p vids realtime. I've been trying to find the perfect balance between quality and playability, and these are the best possible quality I can do without skipping and choppiness. I love NPW! Keep up the great work!
