Ok you can't acces the main menu, but you can start up the FC2Mapeditor create a map and jump right into game, I just downloade from newsgroups. same as the torrent and works!
FC2BenchmarkTool also works without activating the game. I would say just download it and have fun with the Map Editor until a crack comes out to bypass the activation part (Like Bioshock)

It seems you can bypass the release date check by setting your computers clock to the 24 or 25, atleast it worked for me, i got a step further in to the activation process and it not asks me for a serial:( but i believe if i get a serial i might be able to play the game.

Just incase you're serious, .torrent files can't be corrupted when the download is complete since it's continously checked by your torrent program. I guess the only exception is if you have some shady, bugged, torrent program.

when mounting a CD the game will reconize a emulator is being used so it wont start, so what you need is not an img or mini-img, just a damn .exe who skip the whole CD check.

Every copy of farcry 2 is a version with bonus missions, you just need a password. I tried a password I found on my copy but it didn't activate the missions. Seems the password is thruly linked to the copy.

I have to agree. The vehicles brake down pretty fast. But I guess the vehicle upgrades will come in handy when you progress in the game. There's also an upgrade which enables you to repair faster.

@Fleros: Well, it's just my opinion. I think the "crack" just changes the SecuROM behaviour so it asks for a DVD instead of the serial activation. But that doesn't mean that it will work this way.

Some dude: After taking a closer look at the FC2.dll it seems that only two lines of code were changed, deactivating the Serial Verification process but turning the Disc Verification on in the process. Normally, if you had a serial, the game runs without a disc. However, we've simply traded one obstacle in for another. Wether or not this one will be easier to overcome remains to be seen.
Let's hope we'll get some news within the next hour or so, but I'm guessing tomorrow afternoon.

You can kinda get past the CD detection via the editor:
1. Open editor.
2. Press Ctrl-G
3. Press ~ to show console
4. Type in quittomainmenu
5. You will get spammed by errors, hold down C to quickly pass them.
I have not heard of anyone getting past the menu by doing this.

For all those who have the splash screen crash, ot that the game just wont load when you try to run it.
I tracked the problem back to directx10, wich I was running on windows xp. The solution was installing the dx10 FIX 3.

sadly i have to agree with u. i was waiting for this game for a long time, and this is... disappointing... and even the travel is frustrating, i mean, a very big map, and a fast travel that bring u only at the corners or in the center? useless... u'll just spend all of u'r time travelling, since accomplishing a mission is a single bazooka shot, or something really close to it...

its a full driver so ofcourse you'll need to properly uninstall your current drivers.
I got a good 12+ FPS increase when I updated to these latest drivers and so far have been stable.
These latest drivers also add a manual fan speed adjustment bar under the ATI over drive option in cat. control center. Though that could be an old feature and im just crazy?
either way that hotfix seriously helps FPS for ATI running DX10 in FC2, get it!

I have problem I mount this with DAEMON tools and it works nice but when I press "install" in launcher, it just opens command prompt for few seconds and then nothing happens.

Hi everyone!
This is my first comment on PB...
I've DL-ed this torrent, used Razor crack and the game works. It looks really nice but here are some issues that I've encountered:
1.In first Intro animation (when that taxi guy is driving you in the car) game starts freezing at the place where that convoy is passing in front of you... Everything is normal after that...
2.AI is just standing around (so far) and doing nothing, you can aproach him from the front and kill him with knife, he will do no harm to you, just standing there in a stupid pose with hands forward...
3.When launching the game first time (after turning my PC on) after splash screen the game just crashed to desktop... When launching it for the second time the game works fine but with all the bugs I've already mentioned in 1. and 2. When launching for third time the game just freezes at loading splash screen and in that moment I have to restart my PC on the button (ctrl+alt+del not working, alt+F4 not working)
I have all the latest drivers, all the latest updates and my PC specs are:
AMD Athlon X64 dual core @ 2.01
4 gigs of KingMax @ 800
Gygabyte GeForce 7600 GT 256 MB @ 560/700

Hey people.
I have this problem. When I talked to Greaves(or something) in the beginning of Act II, he died during his speech. This obviously wasn't supposed to happen, so I loaded the game. This happened a few times, before he could finish his speech and tell me to go to the island and shit. And when I came from the island and talked to the doctor in the village, he too died during his speech. I've loaded the game a dozen times, but still he dies all the time. Anyone else have this problem?
And sorry if u can't understand, I suck in english.

There is obviously something wrong with this game/crack cause many people get this weird bugs (including me)...
I think it's not cracked good and these bugs are results of game protection, just remember the way Bohemia Interactive made the protection for Arma:Armed Assault, you could play it but if you didn't have good crack you couldn't hit a thing with your gun and eventually you would turn into a seagull... So I believe that all these bugs are just cause of bad crack...

@donkeydude what you want your game cracked and someone to remove the SecuROM for you ? Would you like chips with that? Remove it yourself yer lazy git, so the guys can get on with making more games work.
@syso01 the crack is clean and works perfectly As for the weird bugs give Ubisoft a bell and tell them to hurry up with the patch as your pirated game is having problems.
@GJtje Avast thinks everything is a Virus, it would delete Windows given half a chance. Its like that munching thing in PacMan. Get it to delete itself and get yourself a decent AV.

hmmm, i download now 3 days with vuze... when he got 99,9% he jumps always to 98% now i downloaded 5,7 gig but the file is only 3,68 gig...

ohthatsnasty - the main programs you need in your toolbox are "Daemon Tools" or "Alcohol 120%." try mounting the iso with either one of those. (i prefer daemon tools)
