Will I be needing to activate this little gem? I'm simply downloading it because someone that I am close to is currently experiencing pure nightmares with this program. From what it sounds like (I've never seen it), it's pretty archaic. It sounds like a pile of dog shit. It also sounds like an administrative cluster fuck. Regardless, this person can't seem to get some simple things to work for them (Popup notifications for new messages, mail to be marked as unread after being red, icons are painfully small) If anyone has thoughts on what to do, email me? Lotus Notes is a major corporate Application. It has Microsoft extensions for their Outlook client. This product is an Email server from IBM and run on unix box... I will download it to see if it will work. I have worked with earlier versions and it is not that difficult install.

I been working with lotus note 6 snd then 7 for almost to years now.. it quite complex mail server/ client, but yet super amazing services.. Runs on Windows network as well. go for it, and try to check docs about its installation and config. Goog Luck
