Lossless is lossless... the beauty of it is that you can convert it to any format you want!
So you want flac? Just convert it! I choose ALAC because 90% of people use iTunes. Its easier to integrate.

Yeah, us Mac users don't have WinAmp :( I MISS WINAMP!!! Milkdrop was the best! I have to convert FLAC's to apple lossless (at least I have to figure out how, can I use Toast?) But peck, im DLing right now, but you are missing "Run Into Flowers", "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming", "0078h", and "America" to complete the discography. This discography is ridiculously helpful, and I thank you dearly for it. But flac files are like collector's items. I simply must have them. Searching for each album in flac could take forever, and you have them. It's a bit much to ask, but I'd practically cum if you uploaded a flac version of this.

yes, industry standard is FLAC. FLAC came first, and is supported on more devices, but as someone else eloquently put it "lossless is lossless". there is no fucking difference in quality. for the purposes of downloading music online for free, deal with it. also @LOLSOPA, ALAC has been open source and royalty free since 2011. dumbass.

This is great, good work.
ALAC is not protected or locked down in any way. Any ALAC file can be converted to FLAC almost instantly. I usually use XLD to convert my FLACs to Apple Lossless because it allows me to carry them with me on my iPod Classic + FiiO line out / amp. I believe iTunes and iPods will also play AIFFs but ALAC supports more tagging if I'm not mistaken.

you poor saps having to convert FLAC files just to play them on some iphone/pod.
I don't give a damn as long as it's looseless but you should try going for audio quality when searching for a player and not for where the crowd goes or how many apps it can run.
I have a Cowon Z2 and I wouldn't give it away for anything. (Plus, it plays ALL the formats you throw at it)
