Hi there... downloaded it but can't get it running at all. When you say language file only, should there be another program I download and then patch this onto. I tried mounting it, and burning and then running it with no such luck. I'm using a Mac, with Windows on Parallels and have tried both OS's as far as I know its universal right? Help please.

than start Rosetta Stone V3 App and install the language.
ps:maybe because you are on parallel, thats way but it should work, no complain so far but so.

This requires the Version 3 application and the crack, both of which are on TPB. Follow the instructions in the crack files religiously!!!
Version 3 will not work with any previous language disks. Version 3 installs the languages from the CDs to your hard drive, so don't burn them, just use daemon or whatever, install the languages one by one and enjoy.
Version 3 has an unbelievably better, beautiful interface and much, much better voice recognition abilities.

Here are Esarhaddon's instructions on how to:
1) Get the Rosetta Stone Version 3 Application
2) Get the latest update for Version 3
3) How to bypass the activation process without calling or connecting online
4) How to install languages
*FOLLOW THEM IN THIS ORDER*
1. Download the version 3 application from and install it.
2. Download the version 3 update from and install it.
3. Download the version 3 patch from Put patch.exe in the Rosetta Stone directory at C:\Program Files\Rosetta Stone\Rosetta Stone V3 and double click on it. If you are using Vista, right-click on it first and select run as admin.
4. Download the languge files you want from esarhaddon's and mount them with daemon (the easiest to use).
5. Run the Rosetta Stone application and click check for updates later, click on add languages, add the first language, unmount the first language disk and mount the other levels of that language or other languages you want to learn. Do add another language until you have all of them that you want.
6. Click on activate or whatever.
7. The patch will keep RS from going to the RS website and ask if you want to activate by phone. Click on show me how. Enter all Xes for each of the languages listed.
8. RS will show you some numbers to give the person you supposedly are calling. Instead of calling, enter all 1s as if the RS representative had given you them, Once again, do this for all the languages listed.
9. Click OK and RS will thank you for licensing.
This should be pretty straight forward.

For those that are new to this....
I've spent the last couple of hours getting all this up and running on my PC, so I'll do my best to explain how to do it.
1. First you need the Rosetta Stone v3 application:

Install the program, and remember where it is (should be in C:\Program Files\Rosetta Stone\Rosetta Stone V3).
2. Then you need the NEW patch for Rosetta Stone v3.2.11 :
GO TO: rapidshare dot
(just make sure you substitute the word dot for an actual period, with no spaces before or after).
Sorry about the craziness but the spam filters here would probably junk this comment if it has an outside link....
Anyways, download that file unzip it and drop it into the folder that Rosetta stone is installed in. double click the patch file, then click the patch button in the open window. It should say everything is good. And then you are done with getting Rosetta Stone installed and also getting around the product key crap.

Now for the language files...
3. Download and install the free program DAEMON Tools Lite, explanation of what is does below.
search google for it or get it here:

once you have any of the language files downloaded (preferably .iso files) you will need a way to get Rosetta Stone to "see" them. An .iso file in this case is basically an exact copy of the Language CD. DAEMON Tools is a program that acts essentially simulates a cd/dvd drive. By that I mean that with it running and pointed to an .iso file (called Mounting), it will look like you have another CD drive in your computer. When installed you can mount the language files that you downloaded so that Rosetta Stone thinks that you have the proper cd in your cd/dvd drive.
With DAEMON Tools installed you should run the program, this will put a small red lightning bolt icon in your system tray (normally in the bottom right of screen). Left click the red icon, then click on the empty device. A dialog box should pop up asking you to point it to the .iso file that you want to mount. once you have located that file and clicked ok your computer will show an additional drive and once you start Rosetta Stone you should be able to select the add a language option and it will install all the necessary files.

Hmmmmm.... weird. I dont see an .ISO file when I extracted. I extracted the files and I get the files - Data, Documentation, Laguages and speech.... I dont get any ISO image to open with Daemon. Any helpful suggestions??

I wonder if the crack has anything to do with it.
I have Italian level 1-3 on my computer, and I hope my anti-virus program's wrong. :D

You get every language in an iso file. No Extracting, all you have to do is burn it to a disc with PowerISO or Alcohol and it autostarts when you load it. You can also mount it to your virtual drive. It comes with all the help files, language sheets, and even a bonus language program. Works perfectly. I got this about a year ago and I love it.
Oh, and only 3.62 GB, so it fits perfectly on a DVD, or takes up as little space on your HD as possible. Trust me, this is the easiest way to go. I tried torrents like this, and the set up and installation alone was the biggest pain in the a...With this, no installation is needed.
The file is in ISO format. You don't have to install the program to your computer. You can use PowerISO to burn it to a disc, and it will autorun on your computer anytime after you put the disc in. Or, if you don't want to burn it, simply use the "Mount" option in PowerISO and choose to mount image to drive [E]. It should then open up the file folder with RS in it. If it doesn't, go to "My Computer", right click on your new (E) drive, and click run. That's all you have to do. Rosetta Stone will run on its own, no installation needed, no extracting files, it is all self-contained. You will see every language, all you have to do is choose one and off you go.

How can i get this to play? I downloaded then burned it to a CD, but when i play the CD it just opens a folder with the files in it....i don't know what to do...can someone one tell me how to make a CD out of this that will simply play?! Do i need another program?
