A/V are fine. The movie itself though, while definitely a visual feast, I can understand why some people didn't like it.
Everything is happening in Baby Doll's head as she tries to make sense of what's happening to her. While the self contained battle scenes were great to look at, I did kind of wonder what the point was after a while.
I still enjoyed the movie, but I had a very mixed reaction to it. Still, it's a change of pace from the usual Hollywood fare.

I think the movie is good if you go into it right. Personally me and a few friends really enjoyed it. We didn't take it too seriously and I went in being hyped then hearing it sucked and actually came out liking it a lot. It's sort of surreal with a semi-intricate plot and it was just downright fun in a lot of places.

I think most if not all of the people rating this movie highly must be teenagers. This is pretty nasty hollywood garbage I barely managed to make it through. It's directed TERRIBLY. Slow mo shots of things which aren't interesting -- soaring scenes of epic macho bullshit alternating with insipid "grrl power" warmed over from the Winona & Angelina movie from a decade ago. Terrible acting. Top 40 pop hits in the background almost constantly, relegating the movie to little more than a glorified music video and making it clear this movie is for teens. Thoroughly tasteless & garish in ways only teens and hollywood-lovers would not notice. I think it wanted to come across a bit like Scott Pilgrim, blurring fantasy & real life, but Scott Pilgrim is far, far superior.

In my opinion, this movie is in the top 5 worst on my list. The plot line is horrible, some of the acting seems poor, and the director tries to add underlying value and meaning which is essentially garbage. The only entertainment value out of this movie would be fapping material.

Also the chicks were so hot.
