Description:

Death was an influential American death metal band founded in 1983 by guitarist and vocalist Chuck Schuldiner, considered a "pioneering death metal vocalist/guitarist". The band split up after Schuldiner's death in 2001. ------------------------------- Symbolic is the sixth album by American band Death. Like its predecessors, this album is progressive and technically advanced. It is notable that the average song length on this album is around five minutes, while it was around four minutes on Human and Individual Thought Patterns, perhaps due to slowed down song tempos closer to that of traditional death metal. As a result, the album was not quite as "technical" as its predecessors but more straightforward, "progressive". -------------------------------- Track listing 1. "Symbolic" - 6:33 2. "Zero Tolerance" - 4:48 3. "Empty Words" - 6:22 4. "Sacred Serenity" - 4:27 5. "1,000 Eyes" - 4:28 6. "Without Judgement" - 5:28 7. "Crystal Mountain" - 5:07 8. "Misanthrope" - 5:03 9. Recently discovered "Death" so glad I did. Slightly different sound to pure death metal, like you said theyre also a little progressive. Thanks for the d/l!
