hell thethingy thank you for all the programs you have. this is the first time i've got an error when using your programs. I did all the steps in the instruction note. The installation was successful though when i opened the program is says an error. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling trice. at first i was able to enter the serial key then the programs stops showing me a closed unexpectedly window after that error i always get it again and again.
BTW im using:
Windows XP SP3 Updated
1GB of RAm
1.86 GHz Intel Core Duo
and
Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family.

I am experiencing the same issue, I would like to use the export to flickr plugin but it won't enable due to pirated version being picked up. Is there a way around this?

Hi there, great job on the downloads! Just a quick question, how do I get the facebook plugin to work? On the plugin manager it is installed and working, but I go to export and it is not on the export drop down menu, none of the plug ins are apart from a photomatix one I installed. Any help would be appreciated

I have looked in the read me file and it sends me to a place I view on Firefox and I have tried to look through out the whole thing and still can not find the numbers. Please help!....I'm having problem during my workflow in version 3.3. When i started to create a catalog, the app crash down..Now i'd uninstall the version 3.3, and install the 3.4. Now when i try to open LR 3.4, it continues in my last activity in version 3.3. Which was the time i tried to make a new catalog in version 3.3.
As i remember, when i installed the version 3.3, my pc was connected to the internet...

To all those with plugin errors: You shouldn't be trying to use online plugins like upload to flikr/facebook. Obviously the software is connecting to an Adobe server and being detected as pirated. Get a good firewall to block that. And do a clean install.

i didn't get the insructions about the hosts file. i was lost at the instruction number 7. that far the insructions got me change "hosts" to "hostsbackup". (so i don't have any file named "hosts" at that point.) but number 7 asks me to copy "hosts" to etc folder. 1. i don't have any folder named "hosts" anymore. 2. i'm already working in "etc" folder.

Don't normally post comments, but just wanted to say thanks to [thethingy]. His instructions are still spot on and if you follow them, you should not have any issues. I am 'middle of the road' when it comes to computers and if I am able to install it, then I would think the vast majority of those on PB should be able to as well.

So, I downloaded and followed instructions and it worked beautifully!
For about 2 hours.
Then when trying to open a new photo, it just closed and said there was a problem.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing.
There has been a problem and Lightroom has stopped working. WHAT SHOULD I DO :(
