I can confirm the instructions set out by Robbinghood in these comments worked for me (with updates on Adobe products still working) on Snow Leopard 10.6.2
I used the serial:

which I got from the keygen provided (beware, you can't run the serial unless you have a windows PC handy, or run in an emulator).

Ok, this is my first ever attempt at this, and I'm failing. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it so much! I need that CS4 collection...
Here's what I did:
I first tried using the serial posted by rsmseys and shalvius for a trial version of Flash CS4 which I have already installed and used. That worked fine!
Then I downloaded the Dreamweaver CS4 trial from the Adobe homepage and followed the intructions by RobbingHood: stopped the install before the serial-page-thing.
Then I copy pasted all the stuff posted here to change the host file in terminal. That seemed to work from all I could tell.
Then I used the same serial again (the one I used for Flash five minutes previous) and no go.
I realise I've probably made some really obvious mistakes here, but I'm clueless as how to fix it...
Do I need to uninstall all Adobe stuff and start again? Do I need a keygen for the serial?
I'm on Mac OS 10.6.1 and I learned all these words today (keygen, terminal, all of it)
Please please if anyone could take pity on a novise dummie I'm forever grateful.

Hi,
Make sure your Admin Password shoudn't be Blank, otherwise it won't work.
Also, I was using Power MAc G5, OS X 10.5 with 1GB ram.
After installation, I got an message that some of the components are not installed.
Finally I checked all CS4 software and found that InDesign CS4 is not working, everytime, I get message : Application quit unexcepedly..."
Anybody help me to figure out InDesign problem?
Also, how to Uninstall & Install particular software?
Now I hav upgraded OS X to 10.5.8 with 3GB Ram. Thanks.

Ok, I'm a new MAC user, and this WORKS, but you have to follow the guidelines. I had issues understanding the "terminal" stuff and to do what in what order. So check it. I succeeded first time, and I have the latest leopard software.
1.Download the program and set it up and STOP at the Trial/Serial page & TURN OFF INTERNET.
2. Open terminal and type what ROBBINGHOOD wrote. REMEMBER to watch THE SPACE between the letters, if you don't do it right it won't work. Then PASTE and SAVE all those number codes in the text window that opens.
3. Once you save, close terminal and the text window. THEN proceed to click TRIAL and select the programs you want.
4. Once it's done, open photoshop and enter the serial, it's here somewhere LOL. I didn't use keygen on this torrent cause it's got a trojan.
5. Done! I opened every program and they all worked, didn't get a customer agreement, which is beautiful. I opened more than 5 times and nothing. I CONNECTED to internet and tried opening again. NOTHING!! GOOD LUCK, GUYS!

I downloaded this torrent on a windows based computer to be able to use the keygen.
Generated it and got the serial num. for Mac(its so easy to do) then on my mac I went on the adobe website and downloaded the Adobe CS4 Master Collection TRIAL(took about 2hrs)
When that was done I felt that I should restart my mac, so i did restart it, after that I opened one of the Adobe apps for the FIRST time which was Photoshop.
Then the option came up for either to choose the 30 Day Trial or enter a serial code for full use forever.
So all I did was copied the Serial num. from the Keygen on my windows computer and just typed it in the serial code option for Photoshop AND THAT WAS IT. Photoshop opened up then i closed it, open it again to make sure and it did. Then I opened all the other programs and they all did :)
As for updating i'm sure it will. if any updating problems accure i'll be sure to comment on here:)
My Software is MAC OS X version 10.6.2

^^^Update! Sorry folks i MESSED UP. I forgot to mention that I turned my Airport/Internet OFF before I installed everything.
Then when I turned it back on an Adobe Message came up and said that "Adobe DOES NOT recognize your serial" so then it went back to the option to use it as a 30 day trial or enter a serial for full version.
So, I followed every step by step and every line that RobbingHood posted on his THIRD comment on the FIRST comments page. I turned of the internet like he said to and after i did all the steps with "TERMINAL" and so on then i turned the internet on again after i did all the steps right before i opened any of the Apps and everything opened without any serial problems and so on with the net on :)
Software is MAC OS X ver. 10.6.2
:) Please forgive my long comment. Hope I don't annoy anyone. I'm just trying to explain everything fully and very easy so that everyone understands and it will be useful to whoever may like it :)

i'm having some trouble. i already have adobe cs4 and i enter the serial and it works with the internet turned off. the part i cant figure out is the terminal part. i get the root shell and then enter sh disable_activation_osx and it says no such file in directory. then i took the file called disable_activation_osx and put that onto my hdd and executed the same command but this time terminal said permission denied. my operating system is mac tiger.

This didn't work for me the first time because I entered the serial number. The second time when I altered the files in Terminal at the Trial or Serial page, it gave me the licence agreement but failed to install the good stuff I selected the first time, and only installed the crud I didn't select (from the first install - I did an uninstall on that).
Wonder if mac has something like registry keys that show I already tried to run those??

I have done all that has been repeated by so many people. Now when I try to start any of the programs, an alert comes up saying "licence for this product has expired" there is no error number and the moment i click ok it goes back to desktop. Please help me where am I going wrong?
