That's why you use the osx installer for it.
I tried using it though, but it doesn't find the install disc when this image is mounted, still keeps on asking for it.

This installs fine on Leopard for me and the opening movie works fine, but when it gets to the title screen, everything is jumbled and the graphics are all messed up. Any ideas?

when you open the game a little options window will appear , click on configure video then choose software. this might help on the screen jumping.

I can confirm this works for intel and ppc macs with leopard 10.5.2
To install the correctly, use Diablo II OS X installer that comes with the torrent. The icon looks like a dragon holding a CD.
Also, choose software configure for the graphics when the game first starts up.
do not try to use on battle.net, will not work!
Lastly, Download the update patches on blizzard website after install.

Whenever I try to put in the two Cd-Keys (one for the Diablo II and one for Lord of Destruction expansion) I always get this message "The CD-Key entered in the Diablo II field was invalid. Please make sure that it was typed in correctly." It always does this and I have tried multiple different CD-keys that I have found off of the internet, but still no luck. Any suggestions would help, thanks.

I have installed the Game and everthing works fine, except for the expansion set. I can't play the expansion Charakters or use the Items from Lod, because then the Game would freeze completely. Everything else works perfectly.

for all the people that it asks for an install disc, don't copy the os x installer off of the disc image, just open it from the disc image and it won't ask for the discs.

I downloaded and installed using instructions other people posted (mount all CD images and run installer). I got through the installation just fine, but when i try to start the game it crashes right after the screen goes black. I also noticed that when i tried to mount the disks, OS X complained that the volumes were damaged somehow. I redownloaded and still the same problem! Using 10.5.3 - please help!

If you're using an Intel Imac with OSX make sure to set your graphics to software. Using Open GL screwed up the graphics and I had to re-install. If you hit don't show again on the graphics settings menu, hold option as the game loads to bring it back.

I got the game to work fine and all, but it keeps asking for the lord of destruction disc whenever I play, so I have to open the dmg file again and mount all of the cd's again. From there, I can play the game, but is there any way of avoiding opening the dmg file whenever I want to play?

cd-keys are all in the read-me file where the dmg files are. does any1 get a graphic glitch in the main menu?? everything is up-side down and sideways and covering other stuff.

you only have to open Lord of Destruction dmg file. not much more. you would have to search the internet for a no-cd crack

Hey Guys, could I get some instructions?
I have OS X Leopard 10.5.4
-I clicked OSX installer with the dragon pic and it installed it.
-An icon for D2 appeared on the desktop but when you click it, it appears on the dock for a few seconds and then it "quits unexpectedly".
Does anyone know what I should do to fix it?

To those who are saying that the game bounces in the dock and has an error, here's your problem:
GMA X1000 cards are still not supported..
If you have one of these this game will not work.
Hopefully apple will release a damned update that'll support d2's environment.
But until then, sorry.

You know when a game is for MAC you could make it a little more obvious. Just a nice little three letters in the name or the description would have been nice, what you put it in the comments and the category gee thanks. Just a thought you might want to make it more obvious that its not for PC then you would stop some people leeching 2 GB who are never going to seed it.
