Hi! I currently have French Level 1, and Italian Level 1,2,3
The problem is, that all of them required Activation Keyes/IDs. Do you know how I could find them? Thank you!

For those that are new to this....
I've spent the last couple of hours getting all this up and running on my PC, so I'll do my best to explain how to do it.
1. First you need the Rosetta Stone v3 application:

Install the program, and remember where it is (should be in C:\Program Files\Rosetta Stone\Rosetta Stone V3).
2. Then you need the NEW patch for Rosetta Stone v3.2.11 :
GO TO: rapidshare dot
(just make sure you substitute the word dot for an actual period, with no spaces before or after).
Sorry about the craziness but the spam filters here would probably junk this comment if it has an outside link....
Anyways, download that file unzip it and drop it into the folder that Rosetta stone is installed in. double click the patch file, then click the patch button in the open window. It should say everything is good. And then you are done with getting Rosetta Stone installed and also getting around the product key crap.

Now for the language files...
3. Download and install the free program DAEMON Tools Lite, explanation of what is does below.
search google for it or get it here:

once you have any of the language files downloaded (preferably .iso files) you will need a way to get Rosetta Stone to "see" them. An .iso file in this case is basically an exact copy of the Language CD. DAEMON Tools is a program that acts essentially simulates a cd/dvd drive. By that I mean that with it running and pointed to an .iso file (called Mounting), it will look like you have another CD drive in your computer. When installed you can mount the language files that you downloaded so that Rosetta Stone thinks that you have the proper cd in your cd/dvd drive.
With DAEMON Tools installed you should run the program, this will put a small red lightning bolt icon in your system tray (normally in the bottom right of screen). Left click the red icon, then click on the empty device. A dialog box should pop up asking you to point it to the .iso file that you want to mount. once you have located that file and clicked ok your computer will show an additional drive and once you start Rosetta Stone you should be able to select the add a language option and it will install all the necessary files.

It's really unbeliavable that there's no level 2 or 3 available yet! Rosetta Stone Inc. must be paying its new customers for fighting against software piracy! I remember the vast range of languages and levels available for V2!
Anyway I appreciate all the generous people like esarhaddon by heart, for sharing their treasures.

I am having the same problem as dizzyazi and lockmez10. I have downloaded them and extracted them but there is no iso file to mount with Daemon. I just see those four files and nothing else.... I did everything I do with other iso files, just extract and theyre there but with these I dont get the damn iso file. I dunno about the other two but im running this on Vista.... but still I havent had problems before, just when I download these language files. Also, this issue has no connection to the RS app, because I cant get the freakin iso file to mount in the first place. Any help ASAP is appreciated.

you are NOT supposed to extract an ISO file anyhow!
after downloading the file inside this torrent
you just put it somewhere on your hard disk, (THE file you got after finishing the download) and then using daemon tools to mount it to a virtual drive. very simple, no extract, no burn - just mount. you might do so by clone CD virtual drive, or Daemon lite, or anything else;
but I use this:

Regarding my earlier post about the Farsi language pack... I've downloaded and installed RS v3, applied the update and patch. Then I downloaded burned the .iso to a disk, as well as trying to mount it using Daemon. When it autoruns, it says "Rosetta Stone is not installed on this computer". Then I downloaded "Rosetta.Stone.V3.German.Level.1.iso", mounted and successfully installed it and it works just fine! Looking at the directory of the structure of the mounted .iso file, German level 1, I see the following directories in the root directory of the mounted .iso:
data
documentation
languages
speech
However, doing the same thing with the mounted .iso for the Farsi language pack, I see:
autorun (directory)
v3.0 (directory)
00000001.TMP
00000002.TMP
autorun.inf
cdid3.trs
drvmgt.dll
secdrv.sys
In the v3.0 directory, I see 2-subdirectories:
languages
pictures
All this leads me to believe that the Farsi language pack is for an older version of RS, possibly v2.x? Can anyone confirm this?

I downloaded "The Rosetta Stone Application CD 2.0.8.1.exe". It contained 2-files:
1) Theros~1.exe
2) andy_rc.exe
The 2nd file looked suspicious. So I extracted the 1st one, scanned it for virus and OfficeScan said it was clean. But when I run it, nothing happens. Any ideas where I can snag RS v2? Preferably one w/o the virus payload :o)

If you have the v2 Lang Packs and the problem is that you don't have the v2 app, this should fix it.

hey i have downloaded all three language levels of french, but when i try to use it, it says that i can only access certain parts of the lesson unless i activate the software. Do you know how to get around this? if there is a way to get around it, i need a way to access all parts of the lesson
