Kontakt 2 works as a VST & DXI plugin which means that ANY sequencer like cubase or other programs can use the samples
Although this is NOT A PROGRAM, only a library of samples to use with Kontakt 2, so you need Kontakt to play them!

Okay. I have kontaktplayer2. But where am I supposed to put the sample folder? And what should I name it. You see I have GPO. And when I put it in the instruments folder. Kontakt only sees the NKI file and gives me a stradivari with no options..

EDIT: Kontakt gives me the Stradivari Rollout menu, with No possibility of adding a setup.

You can't use kontakt player 2 or kompakt. You must use "Kontakt 2"

Well I just loaded this into kontakt 2 and it sort of works... after you specify the folder with the wav's... and even the keyswitches work, but it's glitchy. very glitch and inconsistently so. If anyone has Garritan Solo Violin 2.0 (discontinued) plz upload it if possible. HOLY SHIT. I JUST PRESSED A BUTTON ON MY KEYBOARD AND THE LOUDEST SOUND I EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE BLASTEST OUT OF MY HEADPHONES. IT WAS THE VIOLIN INSTRUMENT, BUT GLITCHED UP AND PRODUCED 100,000,000 DECIBELS OF WHITE NOISE. IT SCARED THE FUCK OUT OF ME. I JUMPED 3 FEET IN THE AIR. DOWNLOAD AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

but seriously, that white noise glitch... i'm pretty sure it was the garritan violin that caused it, tho not 100% sure.

Unfortunately, the violin is a lot less realistic than the cello by the same company! I suspect this is why they made "Stradivari Violin 2.0" but didn't need to make a new Cello. Based on internet reviews, version 2.0 is much more realistic and more lyrical than version 1.
If anyone has the 2.0 version.... plzzzz upload it.
